Men or Women, Do you tell your partner the real number for previous sexual partners? How many makes a man think a woman is too promiscuous? Does a lady really want to know her man's count, should one simply tell a litttle white lie?

Um, sweetie... it's not such much about insecurity (i couldn't care less, as i'm the best they've had (or will) )... nor the male bravado... in fact... MOST MEN tone the number down and vehemently lie about the total.... or if a bit older... give some figure like (in the last 7 years ...only 3... ).

It has to be significantly less than him or expect a negative change in attitude. If he's been with 50, then her number needs to be 15. It depends. Personally, I never ask that question. Is he a total manwhore? Does he have a history of unprotected sex? Then yes I want to know the real number.

Not true. I told the truth once, back when the real number was only 5. He freaked out and things went downhill from there. He started jokingly calling me a slut. Turns out that although he was only 3 years older than me I was only the 2nd woman he had ever been with. I dumped him.

Anywho... I really do want to know my mans count. Not so I can judge him on how much of a slut he is, but just out of curiosity... I somewhat loosely base a guys number of sexual encounters with how good he may be in bed, but I'm sure we all know that it doesn't necessarily mean anything. More partners does NOT equal better in bed. But it can help me get an idea anyway. I never lie about my total. If a guy is going to judge me based on my past, then I don't want to be with him anyway.

I have always been totally honest. In truth I broke up with one of my former partners because he lied about how many gals he had been with before me. I feel if he couldn't be honest with me about his past then what else would he hide from me.

One of my buds is bi and married. Let's just say that back in the day, he bought condoms by the case. He was honest with her about how many men and women he'd been with and she hit him with a number that was close to his. I asked if that bothered him and he said "She's damn good in bed. I know she didn't learn all that shit from a book!".

As for remembering names? I've been with 13 men and not only can I not remember some of their names I can't remember their faces either. I remember locations and sometimes the sex itself, thats it.

Hypothetically if a woman was with 50 guys you think she's going to be "oh I've fucked 50 guys". I could care less. Most of the women I've been with have refused to tell me saying "it's none of my business"...oh and thats after they have asked me how many I've been with.
