"Past life regression" is simply the creation of another "life" based on connecting random memories of real or learned events in a way that's interpreted to be "evidence" that the described "moments" actually occurred. If people find some sort of comfort from this or other make-believe things themselves, fine. But please don't come to me to try and prove it's real. You'll get hurt.

In my past lives I knew all of you-- and you, and you. And not all of us were Nefertiti, only the sexy ones.

 It's only as credible as anything else discovered through self-hypnosis. As my incubus says-- hey, does it matter?

Dear fellow thetans, as your advisory NOT I must realign your incorrect engrams regarding Dianetics. First, you must all eat three Hostess Twinkies followed by a quart of Mountain Dew. The resulting crash in blood sugar will prepare you for further instructions.

Please remain seated in the cabin as our crew of Clears passes out complimentary Duty Free Zone catalogues.

That is all.

I am out of my depth on this one. I think I'd understand more if you were speaking in a Native American tongue.

I have no opinion on this apart from personal experience and the disbelief in many psycho-neurological explanations. How can a scientist pontifcate on a subject that is not physically measurable nor have an honest methodology.

Twice in my life I have visited locations for the first time and while walking the streets or countryside had a distinct "premonition" of what was to be found at the next turning. The buildings and street furnishings, including an ancient gibet base. Another occasion a colleague relating a tale about his schooldays couldn't remember a certain teachers name. We had never discussed his schooldays before. I immediately said the name, to which I added (surprising myself) that he lived in the gabled Gothic house in the school grounds. I wouldn't say I had any psychic "gifts" - my theory that it is either genetic (what used to be termed race memory) or absorbing the unconscious thoughts of others.

Drifter was talking about 'credible documentation' unfortunately. Personal experiences don't sway anyone but the one who has had them...

Frankly, I've got some private wacky things that I am convinced are true, but I have to admit that they won't ever be believed, so i just have my personal certainties and leave it at that.

Not encountered much reliable documentation on this topic.

You need to read the series of books by Dr Brian Weiss and eminent physchiatrist who specialises in this field and has written many books and papers on the subject

Amazon.com: dr brian weiss: Books+

Brian L. Weiss, M.D., a graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School, is Chairman Emeritus of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. Dr. Weiss is the author of many books, including the bestselling Many Lives, Many Masters and Through Time into Healing. In addition, he conducts national and international seminars and experiential workshops as well as training programs for professionals. He maintains a private practice in Miami.

I don't know about past life regression, but I have some seriously wacked friends.

One guy from Newfoundland sees fires... Before they happen.

He scares the crap out of me.

Thanks, this is exactly the sort of thing that I was looking for.

I would not be surprised to find out that there are "past lives," and that we all stay on the ol' cosmic wheel 'til we get it right. I also think that time and space in heaven are not just different but non-existent, and that "past lives" can be in the future or even simultaneous ... if they exist at all. Or maybe it's all just a dream ........... even this ...............
