I found this awesome shot of Paul Newman. He looks SO good. I can see from the side a hefty bulge that's not to be missed. I couldn't ignore it. He was as close to physical perfection as a man could dream of being. Very appealing to everyone. Enamored by women and men alike.

You're right. I'd say he's very good looking in most likely all of the movies he starred in. Especially in the 1950s.

I have only seen a few of his movies. TBH, when I saw him in some movies in the 80s, I didn't get what all of the fuss was with everyone saying how good looking he is. However, when I saw the movie Exodus, which was made in 1960, it all made sense!

Paul Newman always commanded the screen, but I've heard he's one of those on whom the camera gifted everything. Seeing him in the flesh was often disappointing; he seemed surprisingly ordinary.
Anyone ever met Newman and can reply?

I wouldn't be totally surprised to find out if this was true. Maybe he was just extremely telegenic/photogenic. I guess that could also be said for many celebrities from the past and today. Quite ordinary or average looking in person. Transformed into gorgeous Gods, after hair and makeup artists work their magic.

It's all so unpredictable. Some people are as electrifyingly good looking in person as they are on the screen. Others don't seem promising at all before they get before the lens. (Shia LaBeouf is supposed to be a classic case of the latter.)
I am LaBeouf's opposite. If you are courageous enuff to look into the deep cerulean pools of my eyes, you will see a being of such transcendent perfection that one can only sense the agency of a beneficent gawd. Everyone says so; honest.
But take a look at my foto and you will think only one thing: bellhop.
Not fair, but it is what it is.

When I was a kid I was at Watkins Glen New York where they have a race track..Mr. Newman was racing for Nissan ( I think ) . For some reason he got out of his car at the turn where we were standing and besides how attractive he was, once his helmet was removed I noticed he wasn't all that tall. I'd label him as being short seeing him in person...

and above all he was still very handsome and sexy in his mature age. An excellent actor (who also lived his homosexual part of his
life), a good husband and wonderful father. A leading man in Hollywood who enchanted the whole world. Simply a dream man! Enjoy
