I found this at random, and whilst this sin't a gay site per se, i guess it fits since talk about big dicks will inevitably veer into gay sex.

Grown adults shouldn't say pause after any seeming gay innuendo. It's needless. I agree with the guy in the vid.
If a person buys a sausage and says "damn, that meat tasted so good". There is no need to say "pause!" afterwards. it's clear there was no evident gay innuendo. That says more about the person demanding others say "pause!" If they wanna suck a cock, or top or bottom, good for them. own their own feelings and not push some childish "norm" onto the world.
And somebody will say "it's just fun, bruh". Fun is subjective. and nobody has to find anything funny. There are many other ways to have fun without some people demanding others adapt to suit their latent gayness. that's really where this "pause" shit emanates from.

I think you would to well to perhaps delve into this phenomenon further, and start to discern what populations of grown men aren't engaging in this behavior, and what surrounding circumstances are better enabling those choices. Personally as someone that comes from the culture and demographic that popularized "pause" understand that is emanating from a particular straight male demographic, upon whom their female counterparts, and society at large have placed hyper masculine expectations of behavior and performance in comparison to other straight male demographics.
In short I find populations of straight men that are not widely punished(societally or sexually) for homoerotic proximity don't really subscribe to "pause" culture, and men whose homoerotic proximity (even purported) is severely punished lean into it.
