Does anyone get this? I think you know what I mean if you do -- the quasi-orgasmic thing midstream that has you shaking your head side to side, and maybe shivering? I am not sure the cause, but for me it's almost every time.

I used to when I was younger. Not lately. When I saw your thread, I thought I knew the answer--something about peeing cooling body temperature. I looked it up to be sure, and it turns out, I was wrong. But I found this: https://www.livescience.com/63197-why-pee-shivers.htm

It isn't an unpleasant feeling at all as as I've said it's quasi-orgasmic but yeah, my independent research of peers confirms this phenomenon exists,

I was told that it's a naturally occurring reaction of the autonomous nervous system of unknown cause. There's no treatment, It's not a sign that something is wrong with you. It can get better or worse over time. I guess do your kegels and saw palmetto as you age, just to be sure.

I know what you mean, I get them.
There is a radio station here in Australia called (JJJ) and on Thursdays they have a guy called Dr Carl who kinds knows everything and if he doesn't he will find out and let people know the next week.
Anyhow one of the callers asked about this and he didn't know. So he started asking and people rang in and discussing it and over time it kind of turned income survey.
Unfortunately at the end he couldn't figure it out and the end result was most likely a body cooling thing.
I know its not really the answer you were after but it is a real thing but no explanation for it.
Maybe try googling Dr Carl pee shivers.
His last name is a thought one. Kruziniski or something like that.

I've honestly trained myself to make it more than what it is. I vocalize it. At home alone? Who cares? It honestly feels very good to me, that sensation. I am not saying it's like blowing a load, but it's honestly a little day-lifter. :)

It is interesting that medical science has not yet determined what causes this. It's definitely not every time. Probably when you have to go a lot but not when it's reached desperation point. Maybe like when you wake up in the morning.

Is it also common for those who experience it to vocalize what they feel? I do, unless at public urinal at work which hasn't happened for many months.
