Pee shy?

Hello and welcome to LPSG. I hope that you enjoy yourself here. If guys will admit it, my opinion is that it is common for many guys to have anxiety in a men's room about peeing in the vicinity of other men. I realized early that I could stand at a urinal almost all day and with other men around me could not produce a drop so began to retreat to a stall in public restrooms. So jealous to see other guys unzip and piss and be gone before I could even think about a leak. I have no idea what the dynamic of it is, but I know it happens to many of us. I was an only child and my father was very private and never let me see him nude and was not exposed to being around other boys naked or peeing. I am much older now and far more comfortable with myself and have no problem standing next to another man and pissing normally. I hope that you will receive some good response to your thread and maybe others will reveal their reasons for shy bladder syndrome. Happy New Year. Cheers!

It can vary really. Sometimes it’s very easy but most of the times i could literally explode and not piss🤣 when i am drunk enough i can ignore the people around me more easily and i can start 😅😂 i hat has to be the stall most of the times also

Pee shy my whole life and even in my 60.s still can’t stand at a urinal without a divider. Just can’t get a stream going unless I am there first then it’s ok. Not sure why it started but when younger I would get hard trying to pee which could be really embarrassing at open urinals

If I am alone at the urinals, usually no problem . If there is a line waiting I head for a stall. The extra pressure of others waiting to go makes it impossible to start .
Did have success after a trade show and went out for a few beers with a guy who went with me . First trip was a problem to get started, as the night progressed I was unzipped and out before I got to the urinal . Memorable night !!

Used to be pee shy when I was in grade school… but I think I got out of the shyness when I’m an adult. Now I don’t really care. I would pee from afar and you’re welcome to look lol
