Peeing After Ejaculation

I have a situation that I can't seem to find answers to online.

After I ejaculate, I, like many others have the urge to urinate afterwards. However when I do urinate, I pass what appears to be clumps of semen that didn't quite get out the urethra when I orgasmed. Online I read that men pee after ejaculation to "clean the tubes out" and to lower the risk of a UTI, but there was no mention of a semen discharge. Sometimes it can hurt depending on how long I waited to urinate.

I just wanted to know if this is normal? Thanks for the help!

Your not the only one this happens to believe me. I've had it happen a couple times just gotta up the water intake.

I should clarify. It doesn't actually hurt - there was never a time when I was in pain, but SOMETIMES, especially is I wait a while to pee after ejaculation, it's just an uncomfortable sensation. But this has been happening for years now and I've never seen anything else like blood so I'm assuming it's okay.

Gonna echo what's already been said ... probably not getting enough water. That's a really common thing for a lot of people. H2O is a wonderful substance for the human body, even if it doesn't sound as exciting as other things we could suck into our guts!
