I was about to answer that it all depends on how long (or how short) your foreskin is. Mine must be about NCbear's length too, though it covered the whole head until puberty.

No it isn't. As I said at the top of this thread - for some of us a perfect stream and control can be obtained through the skin, pulling back just makes it spray everywhere. It depends upon a number of factors - how tight your skin is, how large the urethral opening is etc. There's no right or wrong way!

I'm 21 and started to retract to pee when I was 15 or 16. Reasons were smell and convenience, like others have said.

I think it may be age thing too. In school our urinals were pretty open and it was hard to miss seeing (something I enjoyed). Anyhow, by high school it seemed alot of guys were skinning back to whizz, whereas before everyone just whipped it out and went through the skin.
