It depends on the woman. Some women are more readily orgasmic from direct external stimulation. I bought my woman a harness that had a hole thru which the flared end of the dildo could be fit... ( in addition to the ring and snaps ) this placed the rubber base of the dildo directly against her clit and the area immediately above it... the she was very sensitive.
