Al Eisele: Nancy Pelosi to GOP and Tea Party: Bring It On
methinks that m'lady (if one can reference that person as such) doth fancy her Party's prowess too much
the retention of the late Murtha's seat owed almost entirely to a special situation of labor union strength that does not obtain in the rest of the nation, where anti-Obamaism is running strong
man, can't hardly wait :biggrin1:
comical that the most 'laughed at' politician in history is calling anyone out.
Like a 70 year-old Muhammad Ali calling out the heavyweight champ of 2010.
You go Nancy 'botox' Pelosi.
she is an embarrassment to our country and our political system. Seriously.
Yeah she's no paragon of virtue like Newt Gingrich
^or Hastert, who was such a useless pussy that Tom DeLay regularly steamrolled him.
It's obvious that the wingnuts HATE seeing a WOMAN do the job 3x better than any of their washed up corrupticons have managed to do in decades. Being House Speaker is about producing results and putting pressure on the always useless Senate... And Pelosi has done that again and again and again since taking the reigns.
Frankly, I pretty much hate her myself, but dammit, you have to respect her ability to run the House.
She has bigger stones than all pubbies put together. Someday like DeLay she will start believing her own press.
GWB has nothing to do with this.
He may be the most laughed at president; but Pelosi is the most ridiculous politician ever.
So there...(insert Bronx cheer or raspberry, your choice, here) ...and my mother says your mother is...How old are you? That statement wasn't clever enough to be high school but not naive enough to be elementary school. Junior High?
Wladimir or Vitali?
i know itll never happen, but i want to see the Klitschko brothers fight so bad.
Yeah, I dont get why she's the most ridiculous politician ever. Has starinvestor never heard of James Traficant, Larry Craig, Tom Delay, Randy Duke Cunningham, et al? Seriously?
Yes, Starinvestor has.
And they aren't even in the same galaxy of fool as Pelosi.
Cafferty sums it up nicely:
Freedom's Lighthouse: Jack Cafferty Calls Nancy Pelosi a "Horrible Woman" - Video 1/12/10
lololololol... Now I know how CNN is so profitable. Sheep are easily fleeced!
Perhaps tallpaguy can spend more time facilitating and moderating 'his sites' and stop taking up bandwidth in the poli forum.
Seriously, contribute something or find something else to do.
Go stand in the corner. You bring nothing to this forum aside from 'trolling' accusations and childish banter.
You are embarrassing and a fool. The mods that you consistently blow and give proverbial handjobs to are the very people that should bounce you out of this site on a shuttle.
You offer nothing but whining, accusations and bitterness. Nothing positive whatsoever.
Let's be clear with the epithets, Bush could not even form one. He followed in the grand Repub malapropism tradition of Dan Qualyle, Ronald Reagan, and the original politician cum slapstick vaudevillian Gerald Ford.
You may not like Pelosi, but she is better spoken than all the above.
The embarrassment, and pain we suffer is more due to the 8 years or total regulatory blindness under Bush, and almost 30 years of deregulation of essential industries, like deep water oil rigs, and banking under Republican Presidents, and Congresses. During that time the Dems have only controlled the Presidency, and Congress for 6-8 years.
The Republicans may talk like they are minding the company store, but when it comes to pimping themselves to corporate greed, they are as bad, or worse than the Dems. Think Phil Gramm, and his Commodity Reform Act: Credit Default Swaps for everyone! Who would not want one?
W graduated undergrad from Yale, and MBA from Harvard. Pelosi limped through Trinity College with a B.S. in Poli Sci.
Reagan could brainwhip any politician in the last 40 years. Have you ever read one of his books?
A little surprised you are carrying a banner for Pelosi, Duc. Odd coming from you.
Duc, the Dems controlled Congress for the last 4 years of the Bush admin.
Credit default swaps wouldn't even be invented had it not been for the 'loans to those that have no way of paying them back' instituted in the Community Reinvestment Act - first by Carter, and then injected by steroids from the Clinton Administration.
While I tend to agree with you, duc, that much of our nation's current ills can be laid at the feet of the previous administration, the question of regulatory and bureaucratic oversight falls somewhat in Obama's lap.
He's had almost a year and a half in office now to throw out the cronies and corrupt bureaucrats who served under Bush. The fact of the matter is that he's left a lot of Bush's executive machine in place...and of the ones he has replaced, many appointments were to high-profile corporate shills (e.g. filling several upper-echelon Justice Dept. positions with recording industry executives).
Yes, it was the Bush/Cheney regime that birthed this disaster, but Obama gets a black eye as well for not effectively cleaning house.
