The level of intimacy has built over the past week or two with a girlfriend of mine. We have tried to have sex a couple of times, but with little to no success. When I try to penetrate her, I am only able to get the head of my penis inside and almost nothing more. I am close to average in terms of size and girth. She is a virgin, but I don't really know if that holds any bearing at all.

Any tips or advice on what I can do to help me penetrate her completely?

Yes, it does. First time may be difficult for many but not all girls. Sometimes for men too. I still remember my first time without condom. Although my girl was not a virgin I found the sensation on the uncomfortable side. Later tries went better.

Any tips or advice on what I can do to help me penetrate her completely?
Enjoy it while it lasts! :biggrin1: Penetration will come with time. It is inevitable, unless for some reason she decides to give up (for example scared). In your place I would be much more busy with something else :biggrin1: instead of seeking advice here (no offense intended, just trying to say there is no need to worry and just let nature to do its work).

Here's what has worked for me in the past:
  • lots of fingering, slowly adding an extra finger at a time (max I've done, 3)
  • oral sex ... lots of pussy munching
  • take your hard cockhead and rub it against her clit ... rub your head gently against her pussy lips and just slowly slip just the head between them, letting her know that she can have more when she's ready
  • let HER take your cock and rub the head against herself, and control how quick or slow you slide in
  • lots of lube
  • porn
  • alcohol or pot (not recommending, just saying)
good luck!

FOREPLAY, FOREPLAY, AND MORE FOREPLAY
When I lost my virginity it was painful; and afterwards peeing burned like hell. It was about the third time when intercourse actually began to feel good. But I can tell you krispdx is definitely telling you the correct things. A lot of hot and heavy petting, manipulating, necking etc will get her wet. Be sure to have some lube handy. Be very gentle, no hard and heavy thrusting and pushing.
By all means play with her clit and labia lips with your cock head. It is
like the vagina gets ready for the penis to come in. Don't forget to play with her breast as well.

Hope that helps.

I'll probably get flamed for saying this, but it helps to get her drunk. At least pretty tipsy. (I mean this seriously.)

First and foremost is not to pressure her. I will only make her nervous and tighten her vagina. Oral is great but if she is new to that also she still will be nervous ad tight. You could try fingering just before penetration, either by you or herself. But your best bet would be to get her a dildo or vibrator in your size or no bigger then a 5inch girth. I say 5 because a large majority of ladies take that easily without discomfort. Even with a dildo she may not be ble to take you the first time she uses it but at least enjoy the pre-match games

That ain't right!

But to the OP, if you want to have a romantic evening before having intercourse, one glass of red wine would not only be sexy but get her relaxed.
By all means don't get her drunk....YOU WOULD BE MOVING TO THE BORDERS OF RAPE. I am glad you asked this question because it shows this young woman means a lot to you and you understand it is about mutual pleasure not just about your cock.

Hi Guys, not to be clinical but one of my ex girlfrineds that was a virgin had a whole different problem its called vestibulitis . Make sure she check s out with an OBGYN, it could be as simple as a yeast infection. Otherwise any penetration is painful and almost impossible no matter how "liquored up" one gets.

If thats not the case then by all means take your time and foreplay uis key and relaxation. If theres a mutual attraction and spark it'll happen.

Might i also add that the fear of pain and experiencing even just a little upon penetration can cause the pc muscles to tighten. All the advice given here is very legitimate and might i also add that its hard to make losing your virginity not painful. But she might get turned on enough to get the courage to push you into her and work past the pain and into enjoying intercourse.

Cinnamon said that her first few sex sessions werent pleasurable and I'd have to agree with her. It takes a bit to really start enjoy it for what its worth and it takes some time because its hard to feel a lot of pleasure when it hurts so bad.

Hang in there!
