This is my family throgh and throgh, my dad and brother are average, (i havent seen them ercect) but my uncles and cosins on my mums side are well hung, my older cousin is very hung and fit as anything ( im tring to work out the social, legal and moral implications of thinking this but he really is).

OK I know this wont end teh discussion but I do have the best answer so far.

FIrst let me say I have seen my fater naked but I was like 3 or 4 and so everythign looked huge then. As for what he was really like I have no clue. Dont really care. My family was not uptight but we didnt parade aroudn the house naked. Comfort or not most people wear clothes :wow: .

Now as for the genetics, most if not all aspects of our physical appearances have a genetic factor. However, to say that there is a hung gene is a gross misjudgement of genetic information. There are probably tens or hundreds of genes which contribute to penis size. Genetics themselves can never fully explain what a person will be. They can give you a pretty good idea but not exact. This is becuase of mutation and mistakes. Mistakes are a lot more common that you think. Most mistakes are corrected by destroying the faulty protein or the entire cell. However, some mistakes are not so dire that cell function is drastically altered and so they are let pass. One of these mistakes could make a receptor to a growth hormone latch on to that hormone and not let go. Suddently that receptor is in the on position contantly and growth happens faster. The change in the receptor coudl make it less able to grab the hormone. In that case the growth of that area woudl be less. There are also the genes leading to proteins to manufacture the hormone. There are entire processes in the cell which have associated proteins and organic molecules...each one of those will have some gene which codes for that.

When the sperm and egg fuse, the genetic material isnt evenly dispersed. Some genes are traded...a chunk of the mothers chromosome will be inserted into the fathers and the respective section on the fathers chromosome is inserted into the mothers. Most cells will get one gene from both parents as they divide, but some cells will get both genes form one parent. There is also the possibility of sex-linked genes which are on the x-chromosome. This woudl be very intersting if one of the primary genes for penis size was on the x...becuase then mothers woudl pass it on to their sons who woudl express it, but then for males with the big dick...that gene he couldnt pass to his own sons but could to grandsons by his daughter. Even so, it is very unlikely that there is one gene somewhere which is primarily responsible for penis size.

Yeah, there are parts of our physical appearance which have no genetic factor. Scars, for example. LOL But you're right, it's more how much of a genetic factor there is rather than whether or not there is a genetic factor.

I recently saw my father naked because we were showering at the gym. as I stated earlier he's about 10" soft, but he corrected me, he's 10.5" according to him hahahaha, half an inch off. but anyways, we joked about each others size and both agreed it's definitely in the family. he claims all the men on his side and some on my mothers side have "horse syndrome" which obviously means the men in our families have very large penises. he jokingly claims our family has the best men because they're all hung like horses. i'm certainley glad it runs in my families, it's good to be hung like a horse lol.

Hi to all. This is my first reply on this forum. I have seen my fathers dick and I can say it is just like mine (or mine is just like his). We learned in the school that the size of a penis is in the gens, but it is not strict.

Dad was not at all hung up on the sex talk thing he had his talk with us and explained things and told us things and when it came to size questions he showed us it was normal for our family to be rather on the larger side and me and my brothers one day did mesure each other to find out who was the largest of the three of us&#33; Jose&#39;Latinoboy9

I saw my dad naked a few times while I was very young. If memory serves, he was hugely hung. Of course, my memory also has me thinking my dad was about 8&#39; tall when I was that age and he somehow shrunk to 6&#39;2" while I grew to 6&#39;2.5". Being less than three feet tall at the time had my sense of proportion a bit skewed I would think.

I would have to agree it&#39;s in the genes. But.. I&#39;m a grower and my dad is a hanger. I never understood that growing up, so I figured he trippled in size just like I did. Needless to say that gave me a complex. He looks as though he is smuggling a puppy in his briefs. But hey, big is better even if you have to grow into it...

Being hung actually is pretty much genetic so yeah it would run in families..although that doesnt guarantee that if your father or brother are hung that you will be too..by a genetics standpoint we share 50% of the genes or our 1st degree relatives. 25 % for second and so on...but there may be other factors involved too or more than one gene. As for your family..damn you guys are tall..ever been checked out by a doc? might be something causing such tall heights although its not always a disease causing it..thats just gentics and normal in some families....from what ive seen most really tall guys are actually hung normal or smaller...like 6 or 7 inches...but you cant generalize everyone, like you whos hung like a horse K

It seems that for some families the Hung gene comes from the mother&#39;s side, it&#39;s the opposite for me, most of it is all from my dads side. anyways, it seems that the uncle and cousins from both families are somewhat responsible for passing down the gene, don&#39;t know why but it just seems like that. both my uncles are very hung and so are my cousins.

seriously though: if there is a common genetic code for a larger penis, which we don&#39;t know and probably never will, it&#39;s almost certainly a combination of genetic traits from both parents. it wouldn&#39;t mean that the father or the mother&#39;s male relatives have big dicks themselves, although it WOULD mean that those people are more LIKELY to produce offspring with bigger ones.
