the men on my mums side of the family tend to be average size, but showers. on my dads side, my dad's the only one that i know about, he's also a shower but much larger than me. i'm about 4" long and around soft, my dad's a good 6" long and around when soft. Saying that, everyone says i take after my mums side of the family 
it will be interesting to see where my 14 year old brother ends up, considering he's already 6 feet tall, has huge hands and feet and takes after my dad .

[/b][/quote]It is definetly nice to have the biggest in the family. I use it to my advantage, usually to make fun of them. In public places as much as possible. They wont go the bathroom at the same time as me anymore.
As for the pics. I have some I just dont have any way to get them onto my computer. I was going to buy a digitil camera but they are so expencive. If I were to get a scanner I would be wasting my money because, this is the only time that I would use it. I think one of my friends is going to get an all-in-one things so maybe I can convince him to let me use it. We will see.
I have actual done scientific studies on this matter.
We discovered that penis size only correlates with the X chromosome and not the Y which is odd due to the fact that the Y chromosome differention is what actually makes us male.
We did several tests, survey's and documentations and eventually discovered that more than 90% [90.436% to be exact] of males inherited their size from the X chromosome that the mother contributed directly from the mothers FATHER. Even in daughters......her father carries the gene in his X chromosome that is distributed to her genetic make up. Then when it's passed down to her son, the gene is expressed. Not always is the gene expressed in ALL male family members. We discovered that 34.92% of the time it lays dorment for a few generations. [and the expresses itself for 7 generations; hypothetically*]
However, yes; I proved that penis size is hereditary and that it also travels through the genetic code on the X chromosome oddly enough. So everyone go out and thank your mothers because without that little tiny bit of info. she gave you...you'd have something a lot different I'm sure. Remember this on mother's day, LMAO...no seriously.

I would say that more or less it does run in the family, like height, but there are those exceptions...

I've always thought that it went thru the mother's side, as so many genes do, including male balding.

Ok--since I have wondered about this myself, and only gotten anecdotal evidence one way or ther other, often contradictory, I finally came across this little tidbit:

According to what was stated, BOTH the mother anf father play a role, genetically, in determining the POTENTIAL largest size you will get. Then, homonal factors and enviromental factors are involved as to how close to you "potential" you actually get. Occassionaly, hyper hormonal or enviromental factors cause a person to exceed their genetically programmed "maximum". Given my brother has done work on the human genome project, as a PhD biochemist, I suppose I could ask him if there are references about the actual work, but I haven't even come out to him yet. Not sure if I am ready to go down THAT road with him.:biggrin1:
