There may even be a few more variables than that. I was able to accomplish this with a girlfriend years ago. She was quite thin (not anorexic) with a very low bodyfat pecentage, she would always empty her bladder before sex and had given birth 6-7 years earlier (not sure how this might help other than loosen her up). The bump was also created using the "prone bone" position. I put it in about two thirds, moved up on her and pushed down. Now, we could'nt see it due to the position however we put our hands down and felt a round, slightly larger than a golfball sized bump portruding about 1-1.5" out and a couple inches below her naval. It also seemed that the head was about very close to the surface (around 3/4"). Like I said, very low bodyfat. Now, I'm no Mandingo however I am long, thick and hard enough to do the job. That bump, as Arnold would say "is not a tumor!"
I did'nt post this to add to the arguments and confusion here. Just wanted to give new information that might help some of the posters here that tried to do it but do'nt believe it is possible because they never got it to work.
