There could have been any number of reasons why that particular girl and that particular time did not work out, including what you had to drink at your house party, what she smelled like once you were sober, whether she seemed about to tear it off, whatever. It's happened to TheBF, too. A childhood friend of his died too young at the same time that we having extremely serious money issues and the economy had affected his job security and we weren't sure if he was going to have one next week or the week after that, and that would also affect whether his closest friends were also jobless or not and he was doing anything he could to fix that situation. He can handle an unbelievable amount of stress, but it was just too much and sex was the last thing he wanted. It lasted about 3 weeks.
