No, no ouch.

Had a buddy who did this, said getting the nips done was waaaay more painful.

Bear in mind that the nerves in the prepuce are mainly "fine touch receptors", and there's a lot of them. The "pain receptors" are much fewer, about as much as your earlobe. Also, to my knowledge, and I know quite a few body-mod people as much of my art has been used for tattoos, minor injuries to the prepuce and labia heal very quickly.

So go for it! Pierced foreskin looks cool, IMO, and I've considered myself.

I had a frenulum piercing, it got too thick and too heavy (8mm barbell with 10mm balls) and ended up detaching the foreskin from the head. I now have just a prepuce piercing. Both of which were done by myself. As mentioned by @KindlyJedi very few pain receptors, so no ouch to speak of! lol

Considering getting a frenum piercing, wondering if anyone has had it done and what the healing process is like.
I had a PA and loved it, not a frenum though. The PA caused me to have multiple orgasms/ejaculations in one go. Pretty intense.

Eventually removed as I am restoring and didn’t want it to interfere or hinder foreskin movement.

Are you going to put it back in once you have reached your restoration goal?

Possibly. Healing was very annoying. If the fistula is not sealed, I might try to stretch back to my previous gauge depending on results. :)

I imagine shifting would take place though.

Shifting or stretching of the skin, not so much the hole.
At first, I thot you were maybees meaning migration of the piercing. That's what happened with my fren piercing causing the detachment :)

Nah, figured the skin would change orientation over the hole in my shaft.

To be honest though, I’m unsure of the mechanics of that.
