I have quite a prominent scrotal web where the underside of my shaft connects to my ball sack (turkey neck). It’s a bit uncomfortable especially in hot weather but for the most part I just don’t like the look of it. How common is this? Anyone had this corrected? I think my cock would appear longer/ larger without all this extra skin…

I had mine corrected a little less than a year ago. In my case the webbing went up about mid-shaft (and was super uncomfortable and more often than not was inflamed because of the tension). My dick definitely looks larger than before (about half an inch to an inch). I had a little under 2 inches of webbing removed.

^To add, according to my Uro it's a result of having an overly aggressive circumcision and isn't that common.

Mind saying how much it was and what the procedure was like? Im interested myself. It's mostly cosmetic but I don't like it.

$4kish, luckily it was all covered by insurance. The procedure itself wasn't bad, I ended up getting put under anesthesia and the entire procedure only took about 25 mins. Basically the doc removed 95% of the webbing (in a V-shape fashion), and then stitched me up (from shaft down to about mid part of my balls).

First night I experienced some pain due to good ole night time woodies putting tension on the stitches, but overall wasn't too bad after that. Surprisingly, my balls were bruised and swollen (which took about 3 months to fully go away), so I had to be careful not to give them too much movement but besides that pain was very minimum.

How’d you get insurance to cover it? You in the US? Who do you even go to for this, a urologist?

Yep, I'm in the US and went to a urologist to have it done (one that specializes in complex surgeries). As for insurance, my doc submitted a prior authorization outlining why it was medically necessary, and my insurance approved it without a hassle.

That’s awesome. Guess I’ll look around, but how did they justify it being medically necessary?

Mine doesn’t really prohibit me from doing anything it’s just that I don’t like my balls riding up so high. It would just look nicer with a better hang.

Anyway, thanks for the info. I don’t suppose you’re in the DFW area?

No worries, my doc made the case that the tension from the webbing was creating chronic inflammation and would resolve if surgery was permitted. NYC area.
