I’m continually amazed (amused) at how much variance exists on this site. Talking about penis size is ostensibly like talking about the meaning of life: Everyone has an opinion, and yet there is no universally accepted answer. Even appealing to scientific studies and data appears useless, as few are familiar with those studies and even fewer have read them. What one person considers a “pretty big” dick, science considers anomalously large, and still another considers just “okay.” And who knows who’s telling the truth? Perhaps scientific studies are pushed by psychologists and corporate HR departments, who are trying to stave off anxiety about penis size? Perhaps. Or perhaps the guy who says a 7” penis is just “okay” doesn’t actually think that but is hoping to make himself look better by denigrating another? Perhaps. Perhaps. But who can say for sure?!

How to put an end to this state of affairs? Ha, fat chance! But: maybe a self-declaration would help, particularly one that is laid out neatly. Here’s what I propose: state your size, offering four measurements: 1) bonepressed length 2) base girth 3) midshaft girth 4) glans girth. Self-declared stats should not be questioned; if someone is lying, their pictures (or a lack thereof) will tell the tale. Also, participate in the accompanying survey. Everyone knows this is a “large penis” site, but let’s flesh out that claim a bit. The survey isn’t perfect, but it’s better than nothing.

Like the meaning of life, this won’t end debate. But it may shed some much-needed light on the subject.

In my opinion, any size survey that ha a breakdown based only with ranges of length is flawed.

You have the BPE length range qualifying as "big". Well, bone pressed i could claim 6.75" in length and I dont think anyone would think i am big because of its slender girth.

Relative perceptions of size are based on a combination of both length AND girth.

I don’t disagree. Just not sure how to make that poll. That’s why actual replies (in writing) are more informative...

Yeah, no.

maybe a self-declaration would help

Self-declarations are why scientific studies exist in the first place--most people with penises measure, well, let's say inaccurately. Kudos, though, for pretty fitting descriptions of size ranges--although as pointed out above, 'big' is more of a volumetric measurement than strictly length or girth.

Yeah, no.

My hope was that profile pics would alleviate (somewhat) the exaggeration that goes on with self-declarations. The site has a number of watchful eyes; it’s not like mailing in a form. ;) But I hear you!

Btw: my reference to HR departments was an opinion I’ve read; I myself don’t think that.

No. There isn't a single study that actually really cares about penis size. It's always just data needed for something else. So they'd sabotage their own research.

Bone pressed: 7.01 inches
Erect Girth:5.3 inches

Im a grower not a shower and I have a lot of public fat hiding 1-2inches when erect so when I am, I can only measure 6.6 but the other. 40 is under the fat. I'm trying to excersise so the fat goes away and I'm doing pes so I canget longer.

1. 8.2" BPEL
2. 5.5"
3. 5"
4. 5"

Based on these numbers im in the "monster" category, by 0.2", never considered myself that tho, because its the nbpel what is visible and i can use. I know that last part is not a ground breaking recognition, but still :D
