I think that the whole penis/race correlation is ridiculous. If there is any connection, it would make sense that diet and stature would play the hugest role. If my theory is correct, then Northern/Western Europeans would posess the largest members, or possibly African Americans who resulted from....ahem...arranged sexual union based on stature during slavery times. Native Africans--or for that matter--natives period, would not benefit from large endowment. Mexicans are short with a little 's' and result from mal-nourished indios. Why would they have any size? Hmm, good job of injecting racism into an already controversial topic. Brazilians and Mexicans have very different ethnic backgrounds so there's no reason to assume that their statistics would be similar.

I'm actually Mexican-American and I'm only 5ft8 yet I'm well above average. Although, I was raised on a nutritious and "penis enhancing" american diet (tater tots and hot pockets).

I suppose it may be possible to find similar penis sizes within ethnic groups that share very similar physical features (Korean for eg) but there's too much variety within most ethnic groups.

It's more peculiar than that. The range of variation seems far more extreme than height, or hand span, or shoe size, or size of ear or nose. And why that should be isn't at all clear.

The penis really can't be compared to variations in things like ears and hands. They are structured using bone and cartelage when the penis is entirely tissue based.

The comparison would surely rely on variations in skin and capilliary dilation or some other thing, I'm just geussing.

African americans tend to have larger lips, that's similar in the way that there entirely tissue based, maybe there lies a correlation there. but lips don't change much in size depending on cirlculation. The penis is really an independant structure on the male body that can't be judged by other factors. It's not like we walk around with our DNA profile scrolling across our foreheads.

Pardon my sarcasm... but I think that the only way these surveys could be taken seriously would be to have doctors from a certain nationality examin guys from another nationality. And, probably, the only companies to have reasonably trustworthy results would be the ones that make condoms, since it is in their best interest to have their product adequate to the reality of each country (if there is such thing as a "standard" reality, cockwise, for each country)

My point was that nationality is kind of arbitrary and has little to do with people's genetics. Nationalism is a newer concept that was imposed with the rise of capitalism and the industrial revolution. So trying to say that any given European is more hung than any other given European, on average, is a crock of shit.

That said, the argument that perhaps nutrition has something to do with it is the only way that nationality would have any bearing...which is what I think Thirdlegmeat was saying.

For instance, India and Bangladesh are different nationalities, but if on average, Bengalis were significantly smaller than Indians, I would say that it has more to do with malnutrition than anything else.

That said, my Dad's side of the family came from a time and place where they were all malnourished. I had all the best food. They all came out hung like horses. I ended up an average 6 inches. That has to do with my Mom being 43 when I was born and taking estrogen pills when she was pregnant... Or maybe it doesn't. Who the fuck knows? Its all sort of arbitrary.

If there was any actual measuring, it was a very small group, probably picked out by a French sociologist who wanted to prove that the French love of sex resulted in bigger average manmeat. I'm going to say that it is totally bogus and there was no actual measuring.

I understand the point he was trying to make about nutrition and penis size. However, I really don't see the correlation between the two and I don't agree with his theory that "natives, would not benefit from large endowment".

As track pointed out, a penis is entirely tissue based. There doesn't seem to be a correlation between nutrition and the size of a person's lips or tongue, so why would we assume that there's correlation between nutrition and penis size?

There are plenty of overweight "well nourished" people with small penises, and plenty of thin "malnourished" people with large penises.

i think most of this is relative at best regarding nationality... now as far as race goes, there may be some corolation... as i have said in another thread, i work in a supermax prison, and unfortunatly part of my duties among others is stripsearching convicts... being like most state prisons we are over 70 percent african americans, then caucasions, mezito, then a few asians... not that im an expert, but i have seen hundereds, upon hudreds of nude men... one thing among many i can say on the issue is there do tend to be not as manny "small dicked", african americans vs caucasians/mezitos... on the other hand this notion that all african american men are "horse hung", just is not reality, by in large most seem to just be basically comfortable above average, or just average... that said i dont think nationality figured into anything say a german vs a russian, or a sudanese vs a nigerian, etc...

A couple points:

Nutrition would seem to have more to do with when puberty sets in. Changing dick sizes would probably take a lot longer than just a couple generations of varying nutrition. The Irish, for example, are reputed to have small dicks, but is it because many of them only ate potatoes for many years? Probably not.

There is some validity to the idea that different races are different sizes, simply as a result of geography. I've read several explanations of it, but it seems to make sense that blacks, for example, would be pretty big and people like Germans would be small.

I don't think there's such thing as a racial/national size-standard, because racial/national "pureness" is gone long ago.

Contrary to what the myth says, I've seen bigger penises in white men than I have seen in black. I would have to mention though, that the black ones I've met, are usually thicker.

Being latino myself I've seen a wide range of sizes in my partners and wouldn't be able to state "latinos are better endowed as..." I consider myself well endowed but my brother -for instance- is way smaller than me although he's taller and more muscular.
