Back in the 1970s, when gay papers started being published in London, a charity ran ads promoting penis-washing with soap and water after sex to combat the spread of STDs. This was pre-hiv and was mainly concerned with gonorrhea and syphilis. It makes sense to me.

If such a simple idea could diminish the spread of hiv it's $800,000 well spent.
