I've found that a good way to remain vested in this site is to not get too invested in this site.
I agree.
That being said, I do profess to being a bit confused as to why a thread about the scandal (and, generally, about how terrible a crime it is that was allegedly committed) is deleted under a pedophilia regulation in the TOS. I'm not upset with the mods or anything, just a bit confused. My understanding of the spirit of that regulation in the TOS was that it was meant to prevent the posting of anything that promotes or glorifies the sexual abuse of children - total common sense and common decency. What I saw of the thread in question (and I'll admit to not reading every sentence of it) did not promote sexual abuse, however - quite the opposite, in fact - hence why I posted to it.
Now that I've re-read the TOS regulation in question (bearing in mind I've been at this site for a long time now, that I don't remember the TOS chapter-and-verse, and that it's changed since I joined) I see that any reference whatsoever to sex involving minors, animals, incest, or fecal matter is entirely prohibited.
Again, I don't want to sound like I'm complaining. In fact, I get it. Running this site surely involves not only ethical responsibility but liability as well. And I'll make sure to keep updated on the TOS to the best of my ability, and adhere to it to the best of my ability (which I haven't found difficult as it's pretty much just common sense).
I was just a bit surprised, that's all.
