The vast majority of the posts around here are so general in nature, rarely with any good indepthness. Yet people will present their posts as if they are an expert on the subject. Two cents worth is about right.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Kind of like when people bitch and moan about stuff but never do anything about it.

I was aware it's probably not actually a word when I typed it. I think it probably should be though. At least I realised it and that's a key point to this thread. I guess I chose to use it anyway because it doesn't seem to much matter around here.

If I put in my 2 cents worth, I expect change back.

So you're saying that people are ignorant of their own ignorance?

Wouldn't they have to be in order to be ignorant?

We need more good indepthness on this topic.

Are you purporting to represent expert opinion here, or merely your two cents worth?

Well - no - that doesn't show anything of the sort. That shows somebody trolling the 'Astronomer' user and him/her falling for it. The 'Amateur' user clearly doesn't actually believe the moon to be made of any type of cheese.

Amusing, I assume your point is; people tend to believe what they want to believe - according to their own 'agenda', they tend to disbelieve (or be resistant to) that which doesn't fit their agenda, and they tend to do this on dubious, arbitrary and capricious grounds?

    If so, what's new?

    That wasn't superlarge's opinion, MB.

Did you have anything specifically in mind or was this a general criticism of posts being too general:confused:
