This summer I'm going to visit Massachusetts, and New York too, and I'm wondering what anglophone people think about tourist that don't dominate the english.

I personally find pretty cute tourists that can't pronounce or combine spanish perfectly

You'll be fine if you speak Spanish in both places. The dialects may be a little different. Populations include Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican, Columbian, Peruvian.....you get my drift right?

As a gringo from New York, I know that each group of Spanish speaking people have their own way and slang way of saying things. Those who grew up in NY but whose parental households are Spanish have an even more different way of speaking as English is infused with Spanish on a daily basis. The term New YorkRican or New YorkCano if often used for NY Puerto Ricans and New York Dominicans

Non-native English speakers wear stars in English-speaking countries, to identify them. We Brits started since we originated the language, then all of our ex-colonies caught on lol..

In seriousness, it wouldn't bother me. If somebody comes to London and doesn't speak English well, so what? Nobody is all learned, are they? I only know a few French phrases (je parle en peu de francais, n'est ce pas?) or some basic German words (Enschulidgung?), but it doesn't mean I'd be daunted visiting Paris or Hamburg.
