Hey all! I thought I would share some of my experience about my perception of being very hung and some recent discoveries. To start off, I have had a larger than normal size penis as long as I can remember. I have been teased about it when I had a local community center shower experience with a bunch of my friends and it carried on after others saw me in the sports locker room and showers. It became my reputation and it got to my head.
This led to me always trying to compare and be that alpha male which had led to insecurities. It’s funny how some of the most insecure about size guys are some of the biggest out there. It’s like the human condition of always wanting more and hard to accept yourself. I started comparing to Mandingo and bang bro’s Ramon which always made me think I really wasn’t that big because they seemed so much bigger on the internet. So whenever my girlfriend said how monstrous I was, I always told her “it’s because you haven’t seen the people on the internet”. The insecurity was crazy, even though I had what many people only dreamed of.
This made me really realize how the internet can really mess with your head. People can post certain angles etc. that make them seem so much bigger than they are. And this is a result of people not accepting what they have which most times they should be proud of as is because they are very hung.
So what I did recently to settle my insecurities was I got a tape measure with my wife and we got intimate. She got me rock hard and we measured. We even looked up the right way to measure which is bone pressed. I chose a tape measure instead of a ruler because I have an upward and slightly left curve so a tape measure gives a more accurate measure. I feel people who have a downward curve gives the illusion of being more massive than an upward curve in my opinion which is another perception of size I have come to notice over my life. Anyways, she held my penis while I roped the tape measure up the shaft and over the head. She goes “it says 9” directly over you pee hole”! I was ecstatic. Part of me was nervous prior that this so called “monster” as she calls it was going to show to be closer to 7-8” (which is obviously big but not 9-10” big).
Then later that night I measured me completely flaccid the same way. We have always joked that I was a crazy grower because I thought I was on the smaller side flaccid. Turns out it showed I was 6” flaccid. This can probably change with weather etc. but that surprised me. So we found out that I’m more of a shower than a grower and I actually am in the 9” club. It was an amazing day that gave me much more self-confidence and I can finally put those comparing insecurities in the rear view.
So in conclusion, due to comparing to people on the internet for a couple decades my perception of what I have has been completely off. Always thought I was a grower when in fact I am not and I am legitimately in the 9” club which is a true rarity. This goes to show how photo angles etc on the internet can totally warp your perception of penis size and what you personally have. Be grateful for what you have and appreciate those who have more but don’t let jealousy and envy ruin your life, it’s just not worth it!
