It could be caused by anything. They don't know. Dick research is limited, we don't have a ribbon or walks to raise money for research. I recently developed a bend and pain when erect I plan to see my doc in a month. Hopefully the VA can help.

I know what caused mine but he was telling me that fucking could aggravate it and make it worse. I remembered after I first developed this it got a lot better and I tried fucking and it made it go back the way it was which was with a more extreme curve so I just haven't risked fucking.

Fucking will have no effect what so ever, and neither will jerking off. There is now oral medication that helps shrink the fibrous plaque, And surgical removal of the plaque is essentially curative. You need a 2nd opinion regarding your options. Best of luck.

A current medical exam is the only real way to answer your question.

Many years ago I had a biking accident that resulted in a bruised dick (with some internal tissue trauma). This resulted in a bent shaft, some long-term bulging of the shaft and some small bit of pain on erection. It took several years for all this to correct it self. (Honestly I now miss the mid shaft bulge).

I have heard of “broken dicks” where some corrective procedure was needed in order to restore shaft rigidity.

The corpora of the penis are surrounded by some pretty tough tissue that basically keep the blood inside the sponge and allow the dick to stiffen. If you rupture that tissue, there will be leakage, poor erections, and depending upon how severe the tear is, surgery will be necessary if you want to ever get hard again. And yes, left untreated, scarring will occur, leading to a distortion of the erection in the future, completely analogous to what happens with Peryronie's.

I had a great straight cock until I got peyronnies perhaps about ten years ago, a before and after pictures !

I don't seem to have any lumps or fibrous plaque any more, but i wonder what is this oral medication you can get? Would it do any good now ? I certainly did not want any surgery as quite a few people said you might not get hard any more !! I can still get nice and hard, but hate my cock now although i can still have a dam good walk and shoot enough cum :)

My bad, it is injectable not oral medication. In the States it's called Xiaflex, collagenase closridium histolyticum. It is injected into the fibrous plaque in the penis, and gradually dissolves it. Can't tell you a thing about cost, NIH coverage, or if it's even available in the UK. (Although Europe tends to be much less conservative when it comes to releasing meds when compared to the US.) Ask your doctor about it. As I said, the American name is Xiaflex.

I had an appointment today, I've been referred to a surgeon asap. Thank god this is an active topic on here.

My main issue when having sex is my cock folding (a "hinge" as the medical profession call it.)

I'm worried about the possibilities and/or if it will solve the "hinge". Feel free to have a look at my pics and compare/give advice compared to you.
