Photo Size Limit?

I'm sure this is posted somewhere or been answered before, but I can't seem to find it using the search function, so what is the size limit for photos? I've tried to upload a few that just said they were too big but didn't say by how much or what the maximum should be. Also curious if there is a time limit on videos as well. I know there is a size limit but I don't know how to estimate file size to running time.
