Might not be too bad of a combination, pickles and peaches. Campasinos in the hinterlands of Argentina make a beef stew of mostly odd beef parts (chorizo de bife) with roughly chopped carrots, potatoes and fresh corn kernels sliced off of the cob. Sounds normal so far, right? Then they dump a couple of large cans of canned peaches into the mix and let it simmer most of the day. The only seasoning besides the peaches is salt.
