if you go back to the 17th/18th century blue was for girls and pink for boys!!
Pink is just a colour, it has no maleness or femaleness to it at all.
Only people put a gender to things and then use it to call people out.
I will happily wear pink - not so much these days as it doesn't suit my colouring as I've got older, but have no issue with it at all
I like a pink shirt or pink shorts as an accent during the late spring/summer months. Its like any other de-saturated primary color- it can be attractive when done correctly. Oh, and a pink tie is the summer equivalent to a red power tie in the business world. (And maybe a less definitive color to wear in Washington DC about now...)
Yes I wear pink. Have several button down dress shirts that are varying shades of pink. Usually wear one with khaki or black dress slacks. Tie with pink in it is well.
I happen to like pink personally. I have two pink dress shirts and a couple of pink poloes. I also have a pink necktie and bow tie. I've always received compliments when I wear pink.
I generally don't wear pinks or any of its adjacent colors like orange or red because its not in my skin's color palette. But, I do have a pink men's thong that I enjoy wearing (along with all the other colors I have). If nothing else, its like 'my little secret'.
I happen to look great in pink, evidenced by the compliments I get from both women and men. There’s no way I’ll stop wearing it just because some people are hanging onto severely outdated fashion notions.
