Hey guys

I was just wondering do you guys experience something like this ever. I'm myself 19 years old so I'd say I'm still very young. Let's say on morning I drink one cup of coffee it's pretty small one and after 15-30 mins depends I've to take piss. I think that's pretty fast? Thinking I haven't ate anything else than drank my coffee.

Sometimes I find some piss leaking into my boxers when I'm trying to hold it back or just doing something. And I've also though that when I drink glass of water only after 10-15 minutes I need to take piss..I don't remember taking that soon piss after just drinking one glass of water..

And when I've really bad urge to take a piss it takes a while to get the piss flow and when it does it feels like there's no power/pressure in it. It's just like leaking in like with half power or whatever you call it. When I try to piss like faster it won't work.

So I was thinking maybe I should try pygeum to see if it makes any change? what you guys think?

I think that you should really go and see your Doctor - He will have seen it all before so don't be embarrassed.

First of all, coffee is a diuretic. We have a hormone that affects our kidneys called anti-diuretic hormone that the more of that we have, the more fluid we retain. It helps to regulate our blood pressure. Coffee is high in caffeine which inhibits that hormone from working and because the caffeine levels in coffee are so high, you noticeably urinate more and faster.

As far as the leakage is concerned, contacting your doctor you can never go wrong. Don't take medical advice from an online forum, were not medical professionals (well, some people are) but not acting as that at the time. Only your doctor who knows you and has examined you can give u a definitive answer.

That being said, although your problem is concerning because of your age (I'm 20 myself) it could simply be from a weak sphincter muscle and poor control over your bladder. You can look up some exercises to strengthen your muscles in that area, specifically your PC muscle, such as holding back your urine stream and then restarting it, the exercises are fairly easy and you can see if that increased strength helps the issue. Your sphincter controls the release of urine, when its overly relaxed that could be why u see some leakage. Muscle strengthening will hopefully give you more control.

Hopefully this helps!

This didn't happen before it recently just started..I haven't changed my life style or anything and I've been doing PC muscle exercises randomly so I don't think it's from that.

And I wasn't expecting like doctor/professional answers from here more like pointing direction if anyone had same kind of problem. I'm going to see a doctor next week for other reason so I guess I could ask about this too.

Unexpected urges to pee, difficulty starting or weak stream and leakage are signs of an enlarged prostate. For us older guys, it's par for the course. Younger guys could have a prostate infection. Best to have it checked promptly. And yes, your GP has seen it all many times!

General Practitioner, i.e. family doctor.

Just a sexist observation: I've gone to doctors of both genders over the years, and both have been competent. One exception: I think to fully understand the male bits, ya gotta own some.
