I love Pizza too. I agree with extra cheese and pepperoni, but I like thin crust better.

I also like these toppings: sausage, mushroom, & meatballs.

yes, like sausage and sometimes peppers and onions.

what about those "desginer type" of pizzas...like hawaiian, or BBQ chicken etc.?

I have not tried them, but i don't know if they'd be my thing.

i like thin crust too...hard to go wrong with pizza IMO

Thin crust is the best . Sure is a big difference when you have one from a Dominos etc , compared to a ridgy didge 'hand made' pizza !
Is pineapple on pizza mainly an Australian thing ? What about egg ?
I like pepporoni , sun dried tomatoes & the like .

I love pesto pizza too, it tastes really quite weird but delicious. However, pizza isn't the greatest food ever invented chocolate it.

I've tried Chicken and Donair pizza, didn't like either.

    Pizza - sunny side up?

I'm wondering if your pesto pizza is anything like my pizza bianco.

Start with a pizza shell, use a light coating of garlic butter instead of pizza sauce, then add the toppings of your choice and cheese. (Double mushroom and Italian sausage is best, IMO)

Yeah Gillette it's pretty similar to that, the only place I know of here that does pesto pizza is ask pizza, it's a very think crusty base with lots of garlic butter pesto and cheese and I usually have it just like that with no extra toppings.

I love thin, crispy crusts. I also like four seasons pizzas. So... I always end up creating one whether it is on the menu at that particular pizzaria or not.

yes, normally i hate chain pizzeria's.

only chains i ever liked were the pizza hut pan pizzas, and pizzeria UNO.

as far as White Pizza goes, i don;t know if it is similar to the Pesto Pizza that Spoiled princess and Gilette were talking about.

White/Bianca Pizza here (NYC) is delicious, made with a ricotta cheese and light garlicy/buttery type of sauce, with the mozzarella melted on top of that....cholesterol overload for sure, but very tasty.

I lived in Boston for over 30 yrs...best ever was the now closed pizza place on Cambridge St across from Mass General...thick crust Sicilian...big square pan, square slices....I'd go over midafternoon a couple of times per week and could usually catch a fresh pie....So fucking delicious...almost better than sex, and I was getting plenty in those days too, lol...LOVE that pizza!!!!

I remember i went to Boston once and ate a plce near Harvard...it was a specialized pizza place called "Ruggles" or something...it was like an English themed pizza place if you can believe it...i think a symbol for it was the stylized English beefeater Solider...and the pizza was delicious...since you've been in Boston so long, do you remember that place? Or have I gone crazy?

I believe it was Ruggles, or Buggles or something like that...I can almost see the place in my head...we were there from school on a weekend visit, and it was snowy and alot of fun.

    A bit of a twist ...

A calzone, from a reall pizzeria. The ricotta cheese with mushrooms and pepperonis with over the top garlicky red sauce to dip it in.

Also something similar to a calzone, a stuffed pizza that you can get in most malls ... broccoli and spinach.
