Why would anyone use plaster to make the mould? That would make the positive cast nearly impossible to remove unless a divider is used, and that would leave a seam on the positive cast. The mould should be made of a flexible medium, like alginate. The cock could be removed without damaging the mould and the plaster cast should turn out perfect.
