I used to work as a Registered Nurse.......I've hung up my cap and cape.....

Personally, I think you find an appropriate homo-erotic head mask and dye your cape a smart, eye-catching color so you can go about PTown doing good deeds as "The Amazingly Endowed and Smartly Turned Out Caped Crusader!" :biggrin1:

I'm thinking, maybe magenta?

But something I learned about plastic surgery many years ago is: don't listen to your friends. Listen to yourself.

I don't think this is right.

Some people are not in a position to make objective and "good" decisions for themselves. You see the people in that programme and people like Joan Rivers.

There was a point where I think a "rational" person would have said "STOP!". But there are people that continue having surgeries and what starts off as cosmetic can become disfiguring and detrimental not just to a person's physical appearance but to their actual bodily health.

Even in your case Bear you DO NOT have Anthony Hopkin eyes. You have your own eyes and they just happen to be similar in appearance to Anthony Hopkins' eyes.

It seems obvious but a lot of people are either consciously or subconsciously viewing themselves in comparison and in competition with celebrities. And many times celebrity photos are airbrushed or "doctored".

And they have the best make up artists and cameramen making sure they get the very best picture. So of course the "average" person is not going to look as good in comparison.

I think that the only true solution - which also happens to be the cheapest - is to "love the skin you're in"

Here's a picture of Eva Longoria without makeup:

And J-Lo:

http://i18.tinypic.com/4y6axpl.jpg

As you can see they both look pretty average / plain without makeup (moreso J-Lo than Eva). But people continue to compare themselves to the fantasy pictures they see in magazines and on TV which are usually nothing like the reality.

Hollywood and the media in general have created an "illusion" of beauty. When you really look at celebs they are not "that" attractive but you have the magazines and TV's which specialise in creating extraordinary beauty out of what are usually ordinary or slightly better than ordinary people.

And that I think is the leading cause of all this plastic surgery. And its very detrimental especially to young people and women in particular.

A term can't 'infer' anything, Betsy. The use of a term can imply something or the listener or reader can infer something from the use of a term.

Clearly Fanly, you should go be a substitute teacher and stop vegetating here. You are becoming so much like HickBoy its hard for me to tell the 2 of you slugs apart. But thank you for once again attempting to correct me, but who the fuck cares....

One free alternative to plastic surgery that I recommend is facial exercise. One night of insomnia in a hotel led me to watch an infomercial about it, but rather than order the expensive DVD I got a book from the library. The area around the eyes responds quickly, while things like tightening up the neck and chin area take a while longer. It's easy to do while driving or doing other things. Wish I had comparison pics of what I'd look like at this age had I not discovered this ten years ago-- or maybe not. No one seems to think I look eight years older than my partner. (If anyone is curious you can PM me for a link to the non-porn site where our face pics are posted.)

OK I'd love to see the pics and know the name of the book. I'll try anything if it helps.

I found that sucking dick helps strenghten and tone the facial muscles.....Helps me look younger. I am almost 60 but people say I look 59....

Touche, but actually the reverse was true for me. All that jaw and mouth exercise might not have improved my cocksucking skill but it worked wonders for endurance! (And enjoyment for both participants.)
