when you're chatting with people online (be it here or other places), how real are you? do you pretend to be something you aren't? how much of your online conversations are purely made up fantasy worlds?

do you ever come clean and tell the person that everything you've ever said to them was made up of nothing but fantasies?

how much is actually truth, really 100% honest truth? are you true to yourself and always being honest with the person you talk to?

I'm 100% me. Sometimes I meet people in person and they discover I'm...exactly who I say I am.

I understand the concept of "I can be whoever I want to be," it's just not my thing. I use my creativity for writing fiction.

I have to make an effort not to be 100% me because I need to maintain some degree of privacy but I am definitely myself. I've always been an open book. Undoubtedly too open. But yeah, what you see is what you get.

In some online places I'm exactly and precisely real.

In others I am an exaggeration or metaphor.

If I have cybersex, I make stuff up. It's like a kind of therapy. But about half the time I do let people know the truth about some of the bigger lies ( usually about penis size ) ...
