Please read this, because it could make a huge difference to my quality of life.

I have a problem, in that my superficial dorsal vein leaks a LOT of blood from the head of my penis. This vein juts out and is chord like, and when I press it down everything is fine. However, when I don't my glans don't engorge AT ALL...and, because of this I feel 0 pleasure...and have a hard time keeping an erection. I have had this all my life.

I have been told that if I was to embolise this vein, my problem would more then likely be solved. Problem is, noone in Australia has embolised veins in the penis before...So I can't have anything done. Furthermore, noone has seen exactly my problem. Usually the leaking veins are the deep dorsal, and effect the whole penis. Mine is a superficial vein and it only affects the head. Nothing leaks from my shaft, the thing that kills my erections is the complete lack of pleasure I feel, because I have no blood in the head.

So...I ask of all forum members. One your next visit to your urologist, think of the depressed 18 year old in Australia...and ask if they have, or know someone who has embolised a vein in the penis. I have saved them money and am willing to travel anywhere.

    Thanks

I am sorry to hear that no one is willing to help you. There must be urologist in somewhere in Australia that can help you. The internet is the place to start looking for urologists that know how to treat your condition. Good luck.

You are very young to be stuck with an erection problem. Are there any teaching hospitals in your area? Many times they will take on an unusual medical condition that others will not.

In the meantime, have you tried erection rings (those elastic bands that are made for fitting snuggly at the base of the penis to help a man maintain erection)?

Thanks for the replies, believe me, I have tried everything...I have been seeing people about it for the last 2 years, gone through atleast 7 or 8 guys, read everything there is on the internet. It's come down to them saying we're not experienced enough, just live with it - I had consistent email contact with one guy who did everything he possibly could in finding someone, but nobody has enough experience in thsi regard...but I know others worldwide do.

I am trying to get onto doctors through websites but I never get replies, so now I am trying forums.

And yes Pecker I do use cock rings and they do help a fair bit, but they give me terrible rashes, and I really don't want to use one my whole young life.

right, alot of medicin and medical practice is very restricted by "law and legal" reasons. For example no one under the age of 18 can have medical care (i.e. tests etc) without a parents permision).

Also now if you call a amblence and they leave without you, you have to sign a disclaimer releaving them of and legal obligation. Just in case you sue them...

Maybe get a solicitor to draw up a document that you sign, which releaves the doctor of any mal-practice due to lack of experience in the area of medical treatment that is required. And in sound mind and judgement, you wish him to try the procedure, for better or for worce.

I know that sound awfull but personaly if what you are telling me is true, i think i would do anything!!!

Good luck my friend hope it helps :)

I realize that it's not in Australia, but, maybe the Mayo Clinic or some other medical research institution may offer more insight. The MC does have a section where you can ask their specialists a question on their website. I don't know who else has that kind of resources but maybe they do and might be able to direct you in a more helpful or benificial direction.

I wish you the best with this,
