Plus Sign

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this question - if not my apologies. This is a question that I've been wondering about for months. When I look at profiles and the section showing the most recent people who looked at them, sometimes there's a "plus sign" next to a name. What does that mean? It's not always there so it can't be the last person to view that profile...
