So. How will the universe end?

I'm in loves with Daniel's voice. And even if universe death is a billion or so years away, just what will the earth look like then??? Will humanity AS WE KNOW IT exist? Is anyone else simply fascinated by all of this? I'd love to be the "fly on the wall" to see what it looks like when the sun dies or maybe we have the opposite of the big bang?
