I'm curious if any other guys have suffered from this somewhat rare ailment and how you deal with it?

Basically...after you have sex, ejaculate on your own, etc...you have flu-like symptoms and need to recover for a day or two. Anything from body aches to fatigue, weakness, sinus or nasal issues. Thus it really reduces your sexual desire and libido (for obvious reasons)...but it also inhibits your sexual activity cause you always have to "plan" the sex to make sure you have the following few days to recover.

Some doctors think its an auto-immune response of basically being allergic to your own semen.

This is some info about it:
Postorgasmic illness syndrome | Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Center (GARD) – an NCATS Program

Anyone experience something like this?

I sometimes feel really run down after ejaculating and it can last the next day. I always thought it was strange.

Me too. Then I read about this and it all kind of makes sense for my symptoms.
