I prefer a man to have thick pubic hair, I guess I just find it more masculine, although keeping it trimmed and neat is never a bad thing. However, when it comes to his balls, I'm a big fan of smooth (either shaved or naturally smooth)...much easier (and fun) to lick and play with. There's nothing really wrong with totally shaven pubes, it's just that not every man can pull that off without looking feminine (unless the feminine look is what you're going for). My last regular girlfriend had a preference for shave pubes and genitals, so I buzzed and shaved it all off for her.
