Fox NEWS is fair. Fox Opinion shows (most of their programming) is definitely biased. Liberal NEWS is mostly fair too, only they will ignore a story all together if it damages their agenda. And like Fox, their opinion shows are definitely biased too.

If you were to watch Fox or listen to conservative radio, would you pe persuaded to call obama a muslim? No you would not. People who do not know what he is are left to take their best guess, and if you were to make an informed "guess" it is reasonable to think he is muslim based on his name, looks and policies. Do you not agree?

so maybe some informed conservatives just flat out declare him a muslim dispite knowledge to the contrary, but it's his pro-muslim stance on many issues that drive that.

opinions are based on experience, our experience with Obama is that he's been kissing muslim ass. it's easy for someone to lie. and from what we've experienced he's also done quite a bit of that.

It's even easier for some people to deceive themselves by ignoring objective reality in favor of viewing everything through the distorted lens of prejudice, bigotry, ignorance, and their own twisted, self-serving ideology. In other words, all opinions are not created equal. Where do yours derive?

ie, you may be a very nice person but from my experience my opinon of you is very low and I have every right to feel that way because that is how you have presented youreself.

No. He looks like a black guy of a certain age with a modicum of charisma. His name means relatively little, I mean my name is common in Wales but I'm not from Wales, I don't speak Welsh, I'm not a Non-conformist Christian and I don't sing in a choir. I don't think people would automatically presume any of these things about me purely because I happen to have a Welsh name and look vaguely pale and nothern European. If they did they would be morons.

No..i do not agree. his name is African not Muslim. his looks are that of an African American and I'm not sure what constitutes a Muslim apperance other than the stereotypical headdress and camel which he certainly does not rock.. His policies are so blandly centrist that many of us who voted for a Progressive are disappointed. What pro-Islamic stance has he taken? His remarks regarding the building of a mosque in lower manhattan where not pro-Islam, they were pro-Constitution and pro-Capitalist (the rights to religion and property). Many may have chosen not to notice, but he is also waging a brutal war in a Muslim country, slaughtering innocent Muslims every fucking day. What you choose to believe is your absolute right, even when it contradicts established truth.

No I do not, not if one is even marginally educated. Many, many people do swallow what is fed them by Fux News and right-wing talk radio - hook, line and sinker. Therein lies the problem.

It's not liberals or conservatives that believe he is a muslim. Those people are educatated on political matters. It's the independents and politically un-attached that think he is a muslim. And the reason they believe this is obama's own doing. He has tried to be anything and everything to all people. and when the politically un-attached watch their 2 minutes of national news they see obama defending muslims and pressing their agenda they assume he must be a muslim, especially since he kind of looks like a muslim, and has a muslim sounding name. These politically un-attached people probably get their 2 mins of national news via left-leaning news channels (abc, cbs, nbc) I say this because unless you are politacally charged you probably don't watch fox news. They're watching regular TV just catching small bits of news by chance. Maybe a USA today cover story or something too.

Oh please. Now it's Obama's fault that the average American can't be arsed to push the buttons on the remote to change the channel from American Idol to CNN??

When has Obama defended Muslims? Has he said or done anything to Muslims that is any nicer than what George Bush did? They both said ''Our fight isn't with the millions of ordinary Muslims, It's with a handful of terrorists and those that support them." That's about it. Well I'm watching this story on the evening news. I rarely discuss religion or politics; that said I would not really care if he was muslim. However if someone states that they are christian why on earth would anyone question it or doubt it? This is another example of why your religion should be personal and stay in the home or temple or church or whatever.... It's no ones damn business except your own.
