Labels are hard. I'm a straight married dad. But I like looking at cocks. But I'm not really interested in sex with a guy. But a close bate buddy would be awesome.

I voted bi because I'm not exclusively turned on by the female body. I don't think it's a very useful label, because it seems applicable to most humans to a greater or lesser degree.
Yep. I reckon “human with human sexual needs” probably best describes a lot of us who admit our wide ranging sexual interest. Society likes labels though. So I vote Bi. Married and in love and very attracted to my wife and also love masculine relationships with men and we help each other out sexually. I’m titillated by a lot of gay porn but that’s a narrow thing to say because there is a vast array of gay porn. I guess I’m a man like a lot of other men. We like physical expressions of sexual activity. Surprised more people don’t identify as Bi. 26% four years ago. Slightly less today (so far). It’s such a wide category…? Why only 1/4 use it. Straight-ish, Bromosexual, fluid. Are they better terms. Most men if they are honest would admit to that - or is that just me?
Gay men sometimes say I’m in denial or in transition, women tend to get a bit threatened by being in a relationship with a man who has sex with men. Perhaps that’s why so many Bi (men in particular) choose one side or the other and make the poll binary. Str8/Gay predominantly

I haven't met any or many truly bisexual men, so I have a completely different anecdotal experience of life. Which I don't tend to mention here because it ruffles so many feathers, but that's my reaction to your comment that more men should be identifying as bi. Based on what? Their attraction and jackoff fantasies (the masturbation test), or their actions in life? Because the ability to have sex with women doesn't make a man bisexual, at least not in a definitional way that makes sense to me. Sorry. Don't really mean or want to get into it here. But just as bi-identified men don't like this topic, I don't like, as a gay man, to be told that more men are actually bisexual.

Thanks. Fair point. But not everything about humans fits nicely into one box or the other. There is a difference between outward lifestyle and inner fantasy I agree, but lived lifestyle is not necessarily the the only proof of sexuality. I’m not even sure if sexuality is set in stone as a pre-determined constant that never changes through life and life’s experiences

But thank you for your comment. As I said. I guess I see the world from my own perspective (as we all tend to do). Nice to hear yours.

My point is that lived lifestyle isn't often the best indicator of sexual orientation. (I know my post wasn't particularly clear.) The opposite: I think one's fantasies are the indicator. A lot of gay men (probably the majority worldwide) are in sexual relationships with women, but that doesn't make them any less gay.

I do think female sexuality is far more fluid. For whatever genetic reasons, male sexuality less so.

I honestly didn't mean to derail the conversation with this. Carry on.

I don't really feel that labels are appropriate for everyone. Some people they work fine for, but others they don't.

I suppose with the choices presented, I would choose queer. I don't like it though, because it is a catch-all term that people use for things they don't understand. They have done the same with psychological disorders like ADD/ADHD and Spectrum disorders. It really doesn't help anybody. But unfortunately humanity's need to have labels applied to everything isn't going to stop, so people who don't fit in just get lumped into a one-size-fits-all category.

Personally, I consider myself a-romantic with indeterminate sexual attraction. It's not poly or omni though because that, again as a label, encompasses things to which I know I am not attracted. There's no particular thing that I like. My percentages are just sort of a generic representation of those that I do find attractive as they fit into the gender spectrum. You can have two individuals with the same body type, look, demeanor, etc., and I might be attracted to one or both, or neither. I suppose one could say I'm attracted to the whole rather than the specific.

Anyway, I could go into a dissertation about this, but I won't. You're welcome.

Hi Everyone! I hope you are doing well. Special bonus at the end of this post :)

We ran this poll a few years ago. I think it would be interesting to run this again and see if things have changed at all.

In case any of you are unsure of the terms. Here are some definitions for each.

Heterosexual

A.K.A, straight. We all know this one — It’s the most “accepted” form of sexuality. Hetero means “other” or “different,” so it classifies those who feel attraction to a sex different from their own.

Homosexual

Homo means “same,” so homosexual means liking someone of the same sex. This is probably the second most well-known orientation. Gay and lesbian people generally fit into this category.

Bisexual

Bi means “two” and bisexual individuals feel attraction to those of both the same and different sex or gender. They are attracted to both females and males. Just because a man has only had relationships with women does not negate the attraction he may have to other men. Bisexual people are commonly erased in society because they don't fit into an either-or category. They are not 50% gay and 50% straight; they are bisexual.

Pansexual

Pan means “all,” so pansexual people are attracted to all genders. It’s similar to bisexual in that pansexual individuals are attracted to more than one gender; however, they can feel attraction to male, female, intersexual, gender-queer, transsexual and other gender identities. For people who identify as pansexual, gender is not a limiting factor in attraction because they are attracted to people of any sex or gender. The term “pansexual” is often used interchangeably with “omnisexual.”

Queer

Queer is a very ambiguous word. It has many different definitions and uses, but here I will try to define it as simply as possible. Basically, a queer person does not conform to traditional gender or sexuality norms.

Asexual

Asexual people experience no or little sexual attraction. Asexual individuals can, however, feel a romantic and emotional attraction to someone. Many (but not all) asexual people can experience arousal, but it is not directed at anyone in particular. They can still engage in sexual activity and go on to have successful and meaningful relationships while not feeling sexual attraction to their partner.

For reference here was the poll from 4 years ago Poll.... What Sexuality Are You?....

What's really interesting here is to see that the bulk of your membership is gay. Hence, there should be no female photos allowed whatsoever, and straight members should not be allowed to bully gay members.

Exactly this.

I’m visiting LPSG for dicks. It’s a site dedicated to large dicks. I don’t want to see tits and vaginas on the front page every time I log in.

I tried to resist; but what the heck

I saw homosexual, not gay listed as a choice. I think that Women who are sexually attracted to other women can be called homosexual, Is it wrong for them to post pictures they like. From what I gather by this and other posts, it is OK for straight guys to post their penis pictures; but not pictures that excite their penises

I hope I am not bullying you with my way of thinking

Cheers

Oh, for heaven's sakes. I'm not attracted to tits and pussy either, but I can tolerate seeing them for two seconds. Do you really want the mods deleting anything sexual that isn't a penis?
