I find myself changing my interests every now and then, one week I'm crazy about black girls, week after it's Japanese girls or blonde girls. Sometimes it's a specific size like 32DD or giant/small tits.

This cycle prevents me from getting bored or getting erectile dysfunction.
I am not that interested in porn anymore though but I have learned a lot from it.
Only time when I really like porn these days is if I can feel the onscreen spark between the actors, must be my feminine side or something.

A bit like some Women's magazines and Chick Flicks then?

Those are awful. Don't get me started.

Don't get me started either. Although....

When those magazine, books and movies are used to shape a girl's idea of what a relationship should look like or describe how a man is expected to behave - than I completely agree, it's dangerous territory. Men and relationships cannot live up to the standard set out in those magazinies, books & movies. Hell, the girls/women can't live up to the standards set out in those magazines, books & movies.

I think the whole premise of porn having a dampening effect on male libido expression with a live partner is BS. Anyone who would fear that is forgetting what it is like to actually run your hands over another person's body, smell them, look into their eyes, while they do the same to you. Sorry folks, as good as technology is, it ain't anywhere near that good yet. :)

I don't know if its so much porn ruining men but men ruining themselves by thinking porn is/can be/will be, real either once or anytime in the future in any consistent way. (i know i just murdered the english language with that sentence? but ah well lol)

I think that it is possible that it may have an effect on some men or women, but I doubt if it has the same affect on every person in the same way (much like video game violence).

I would very to say that if a person suffered an adverse affect (sexual assault, etc) some porn would probably be quite revolting to them.

I also don't think porn has the same affect when it is viewed by an individual, vice a couple. I generally don't view very much porn by myself anymore, but I find it charges the situation when I watch it with my wife or when engaged in group sex, swinging or swapping.

Good point, but how exactly is it ruining men?

My thoughts exactly. Following this research, I find that people vastly over-blow the results time and time again.

Evidence: "Excessive use of porn may be problematic."

Interpretation: "All men are fucked if they watch porn, which basically means all men are fucked. In the bad way. Not the good way. Cause porn kills sex."

Some men are getting desensitized from it, plain and simple. They don't get as turned on from it and have to go to watch more "extreme" things to get turned on. So a lot have to "reboot" their minds, lessening the amount of porn they watch or completely dropping it and even cutting back on masturbation. The desensitization causes some men to have trouble being turned on in real life.

It's not the whole watching porn that's the issue, its the excessive-ness of it.

I don't have ED and I watch porn. In my head, sexy is the situation and the players (the storyline and the actors), not so much the acttion or the act.

On the other end, I have become as picky as hell in terms of what I find attractive.

I think porn, in some ways, is analogous to the experience we humans might have had for thousands of years before the modern era when people perhaps had sex without closed doors. If your buddy is having sex with a woman on the animal skin next to you...you might have the tendency to watch...and get turned-on...and that might inspire you to do the same with another woman...and ensure survival of the species. I think porn might be triggering ancient reactions in men, though the results today might be different.

I don't know of any women who recommend guys watch porn for tips  If anything attempting to do what you see in porn will get her legs crossed and not open.
