I've done it... It's kinda kewl for what it is, but for the most part it's a whole lot time being awkwardly positioned to look like you're being completely spontaneous. It's not hot, it's not erotic, it's mostly just... I dunno, it's mostly just following directions and trying to hold a position.

I've done corporate modelling before (clothed). I agree with ChicagoWuff, it wasn't fun like I thought it would be. Just ask yourself if you will be OK with what you have done 10-20 years down the road. Pics like you are describing have a tendency to resurface at the most inopportune times.

i was photographed for an A level project (20+years ago) but i was painted, sounds nuts but with the paint on i didn't feel naked. it was fun!! i enjoyed being painted by 2 girls more than the pictures being taken, nothing beats an 18 yr old girl with a cotton glove coating your cock in green paint

I'm in total agreement that posing, nude or clothed is not about fun, however it is very much about ego. If you enjoy having your face and your body examined and discussed in the detail that it is in a modeling session, then you will find it a real turn on. The intense, concentrated attention a model's face and body gets really turns on a number of models I have worked with in the past. I would think without this ego gratification, being a model would be the biggest bore one could fill one's time with and you would find the poses either ridiculous, awkward and or uncomfortable. That said, I'd say go for it, just make sure you leave your inhibitions and hang ups back in the dressing room with the rest of your clothes. Nude modeling is not a time to deal with your emotional baggage.

and if im not mistaken, since it's art, you've gotta be not hard, so either limp or semi. So if you get hard, i bet everyone on set will have to wait for you to cool it down, lol

In college, I was a nude model for figure drawing and figure study classes. Standing relatively immobile for two hours (with breaks) wasn't very sexy, but it paid the bills. And I got hit on a lot once class was over, as I was getting dressed.

If bodypainting counts - I've done that. I agree with above the painting is more fun than the posing.

I modeled for an art class in collage several times. Most of them I was alone, but there were a few times I was with another guy or a girl. At first pose it is a bit exciting but after a few minutes it is more like work.
The first time I posed with another guy it was very exciting. In fact I stayed semi most of the time. We were very close to each other in the poses. The poses only lasted about 10 minutes before we changed positions. I guess I am a bit of an exhibitionist. I enjoy being looked at when I am nude. I enjoyed doing it and I have some pretty cool sketches of myself in the nude. It's not quite like photography where your pics could show up anywhere.
Given the same circumstances I would defiantly do it again.

Do you mean sexually with another guy? Haven't done this, but had a girlfriend who did some professional porn photos when younger. She said it was completely un-erotic, being posed with a man / men, photographed from every angle, then re-posed in a new position while she tried to look as though she was being aroused by it, and while the guys tried to keep their erections. She much preferred it when the photographers would just tell them to fuck, then let them get on with it and take photos without direction. Maybe you should suggest that?

You didn't say what "kind" of nude posing...(with another guy?)...so not sure any of us would be able to answer without additional information....but...

While at university, I posed nude four times a week for a 1 hour an art class. I was a new father and it helped pay the bills and the grandmotherly baby sitter we needed while my wife and I attended our classes. It was, I think, the hardest thing I have ever done in my life.

You had to stay still, in one position, for 20 minutes at a time, and that's very difficult.

But....it kept me from thinking about getting an erection...which only happend once (during the first few minutes on the first day.
).
