For true, some reports are pretty simple like delete a post, so many DM/Bump reports, posting in the wrong Ask sub. Those might not get notes. Some reports don't have an obvious/visible resolution, a note can provide a bit of clarity/transparency.

Has the option to attach pictures or videos in replies changed? I’ve been able to do this via safari on my iPhone by simply clicking the photo icon above the reply box and it allowed me to select an image from my camera roll or upload one via image URL. Now when I try it only gives me the option to enter an image URL. I don’t see any attachment options anymore?

Question about what happens with post reports.

Most of the time if I have reported a post in a thread it is removed or changed and life goes on, and then sometimes I get a notification saying that a post was removed or changed or the issue has been resolved, something of that nature. Why does that happen on some reports and not others? Is it the individual moderator that is addressing the issue or something else?

I am glad that the moderating staff is taking care of the reporting issues either way, just curious about the notification of the report.

Note: these are not my posts that have been altered or removed, but posts from others that I have reported.

The report system isn't perfect. If the moderator issues a warning a lot of times we can't add a note to the person who reported it. It's an issue with the system we are using.

I've been playing around with ways to help the site when the server is struggling. One of the ways is to disable uploads. That seems to help the server get back on track.

That is because it was disabled only for non gold members.

When the server struggles I do everything I can to make sure the gold experience is unchanged.

Just start typing their user name on the left. Advanced member search is currently not working, but if you know the exact spelling of their user name, it should pull it up in that box.

Ahh - I knew I saw that somewhere before - but I think the page in that format with that box is only available on my laptop, not here as I am now on the Aloha browser on my phone. thanks for your response.
