Turns out I have a terrible habit of growing too fond of TV show characters and then, when the series ends, find myself somewhat depressed and lost. Apparently that sadness you feel after a show ends is called "Post Series Depression" and something that most of us feel after a good series ends.

So, what do you do when you're down with a case of PSD? And also, what was the last series that left you lost and depressed?

My most recent is Grimm. Terrible, terrible show. It annoyed me so much at times, but still a bit sad that I won't see the characters again.

Battlestar Galactica had me in a proper funk for weeks after I watched the last episode. Such an amazing drama.

I am bracing for a wicked case of Supernatural PSD.

15 seasons, and I have watched since day one. I will miss the fangorling leading up to the new season. I am gonna not know what to do with that hour of my day. I'm going to miss reacting with like minded dorks. I'm gonna be bummed come August when the latest season comes out on DVD.

I am gonna miss the cons and con footage.

SPN is my fandom. I like other shows... I LOVE SPN.

Son of a bitch, this is gonna suck

The last show that grumped me up was Penny Dreadful and before that Defiance. Both amazing shows that ended too soon.

All still on my list of things to binge watch. Though with a 15 season series, I don't know if that's a good idea. The PSD might actually kill me... Hahaha

I was kind of like that after GoT.
Bitter sweet.

What got me was the cancellation of Colony.
The fuck!
No way!

I'm not sure if I've had PSD, but I have gotten grumpy if a show I liked got cancelled or bumped to a 'graveyard' slot to make room for a crap reality show that should get cancelled.

I have cried when characters I liked have died:
*Keith from 'Six Feet Under'
*Lance from 'Cucumber'
I had massive crushes on them, so their deaths really upset me. Especially as they died quite horribly.

I was heartbroken when 'Six Feet Under' finished, but I think that was to do with the sad/beautiful ending. I don't think I ever felt loss about the show itself, even though I loved it.

I only watch a few shows on TV, followed by a few Animated Cartoons

I admit that the GOT, ending / the way it ended left me a little sad.

Walking Dead, after Rick left, my interest in the show, went down. Though I guess I need to watch the season finale, with the whisperers.

I feel like this for The OA. It is a weird show, but it has grown on me, and knowing it won't get to finish it's story breaks me. Hahaha *cries*

I do what I always do in life. Transfer my addiction to something else!

I always have a list of ten things I need to watch so when it’s the end of something...sob... I can move on and not dwell so much.

Yeah, they cancelled sent out a statement a month or two I think. I want to know how it would've ended!!!

FFS..... Don't know why I bother watching these Netflix series if they're just going to keep cancelling good shows. How is it that all those shit shows keep going!?!

Exactly! At least there's another, final, season of Dark. And they are ending on their own accord, thankfully. If you haven't seen it...it is pretty intense

I second the Penny Dreadful grumpage.

Wow. I had no idea people got this attached to fictional characters.

I'm not judging, I just don't get it because I don't really care for TV anyway. I love the shows I watch but when they end I don't find myself thinking much about it at all.

Now, when a beloved music group/band breaks up or retires, I catch all the feels. So, I guess I do get it!! :joy::sob:

SoA meh

AHS has slowly become like drippings from my ass( season after season it just gets worse!)
