Its really surprising how so few know about them despite the fact that such a large percentage of men (and women) reportedly have them, hence the post.

I too have fordyce spots. They're hardly noticeable unless you were to roll my skin with your fingers and you can feel a few of them. They don't bother me that much since like ytcorp said a bunch of men and women have them.

I have PPP, as you can see from shots of my head in the gallery. Who needs studded condoms?

I've got a little patch of PPP as well. Sometimes it makes me self conscious but it seems as if they're more noticeable at times as opposed to others. They're not huge but I know they're there. Has anyone ever questioned you guys about them? Nice to know I'm not alone :biggrin1:

I've got ppp too, from what I read a while ago they're very rich in nerve endings, which can only be a good thing! Most guys I've seen in person appear have them to some extent.

Mine seem to become more prevalent with stress, they really flare up and I'll get 1 or 2 pretty big ones before they go down again.

I have the fordyce ones, not too noticable and never had any comments about them. I always just assumed they were hair follicles or something similar. I did often wonder about them, never really bothered me though, nice to know I'm not on my own though.

Although treatment is not necessary, those with the condition can choose to apply tretinoin gel or cream to the affected areas each day. This can reverse the effects of the condition over time and prevent it from getting any worse. To get the best results from Tretinoin one should use it along with alpha hydroxy acid agents which are normally used to treat acne. Jojoba oil, Tocopherol and Argania extract have also been linked to the successful treatment of Fordyce's spots.
Vaporising laser treatments such as CO2 laseror electro desiccation have been used with some success in diminishing the appearance of this condition if they are of cosmetic concern. However, most doctors consider this a normal physiological phenomenon and advise against treatment. Laser treatment can often leave significant scarring.
Sometimes a doctor will prescribe TCA chemical peels, although as soon as treatment is stopped Fordyce’s Condition will return. Diathermy or liquid nitrogen freezing can also sometimes be used to remove the condition.
Success varies per patient, but some have found relief through Pulse Dye Lasers, a laser normally used to treat sebaceous gland hyperplasia, which is similar to Fordyce spots. Treatment through Pulse Dye Lasers is usually expensive and doesn't scar.

I also have pearly penile papules. Had them since my pubescent stages of life. No worries. Always curious about the changes about my body :). They seem to have shrunk after a few years....

Don't worry man, it's normal, I'm trying to educate people about it, because there are a lot of guys worried about their PPP
PPP are small white coloured skin tags or domes that form around the penis gland. They appear in rows around the rim of the penis head and may also appear on either side of the frenulum. They are considered a “normal” variant. They are totally harmless and are not contagious in any way. They are not a sexually transmitted disease (STD). I think it is HOT, and I have some PPP on my dick, my gf loves it.
This group is for those who have PPP or think it look hot in a cock! enjoy, comment and post your pics! http://www.lpsg.org/groups/1028-pearly+penile+papules/
