Predictions for the Future

Inwood: Well I thought since the people who write columns make predictions for the coming year I decided I would start a topic to do the same. One difference -- you can predict further then the coming year.

Here's one

If Bush/Cheney win the coming election I predict Cheney will have a health "problem" about year two of the second term that will necessitate him resigning and then the Republicans will install someone as Vice-President that they think can win the next Presidential election. Otherwise they'll have a messy and divisive primary season. That is, if Bush wins. Otherwise they'll still have a messy and divisive primary season that election anyway.

When I think of some more predictions I'll post them.

I predict that, as the days of the year go by, people will age.

I dreamed the other night that I had hot, long, extrememely enjoyable sex all night long. That means someone will claim that there was another shooter on the grassy knoll.

I predict that a scandal will break out in the halls of congress when it is discovered that many congressmen and senators have broken many of their New Year's resolutions.

I predict that President Bush and Prime Minister Blair will raise eyebrows when they leave their wives. They will be observed thisclose, arm-in-arm at an Iraq reconstruction conference in Bonn. Laura and Cheri, in the meantime will be shopping at Harrod's, awaiting their husbands' return.

I predict that Osama Bin Laden will be found---his remains that is. No doubt that history will inevitably reveal itself with Bin Laden pulling an Adolph Hitler, and him committing suicide after Hussein's capture in the post mortum.

I predict that as LPSG gains more and more members, the big schlong will capture more attention and respect among the populace causing a nation-wide demand for requiring the leader of the country to be the possessor of the largest penis in the land.

Any problems with that?

tomarctus: I predict that some hot guy with a nice big cock will meet me and we will really hit it off. I also hope the same for my pals on LPSG. Wishful thinking but a good thought anyway.  :)

1)Saddam has been connected to Bin Laden on many, many occassions.
2)Adolph Hitler's decision to end his life by committing suicide was influenced over the fact that earlier before Italian Dictator Benito Mussolini had been captured, killed and strung up in public display. Hitler decided not to let the same thing happen to him.

Just a little bit of history is all.

Merely pointing out what could happen with a little deja vu.

Yea, jonb, he has been connected to Osama.  Most can choose to ignore the facts to support their political opinion, but Saddam did privately fund Osama and there supposedly was documentation and proof found while we were still in Iraq.  Many people may want to think we went to war for no good reason, and that Bush is evil and lying about everything.  The man honestly thought that Saddam was connected to Osama in some kind of axis of terrorism.  Whether there really was documentation proving Saddam's connection or not is irrelevant now anyway.  The point is we are there, there's no turning back, and IMO I think it was a good idea to take Saddam out of power.

Wow, this really was way out in left field.  *back to your regularly scheduled topic*

My prediction for the future?  The Clinton administration (with all their power) somehow cooks up a mass conspiracy to get Bush reelected cuz Hilary wants to run in 2008!

jerkin4-10: my preditions...*rubbing hands together*...i predict that several high ranking democrats will make several HUGE mistakes in governing their sectors they were elected to represent, that, when investigated, will show that they were paid for their votes...or did it for selfish monetary gains....hehehe...*gazing back into the kristal bowl*.... i predict that several hi-level republicans will show that they do things ONLY for monetary and selfish reasons... having nothing to do with their constituants...

the bottom line is...i have met republicans that are gravy sucking pigs...that i wouldnt let my dog gnaw on their bones...and...i have met democrats that are horrible people as well...clearly using people to their own good...so...people will continue to be people...and politicians...will continue to be politicians...

Inwood: Let's see, what else can I predict.

Well, that we will see more links posted to support "facts" posted as facts. You know major news outlets or .gov links.

When that happens we will see cows fly or did Jean Dixon predict that one.

I predict….

The rapid return of American troops from Iraq this summer.

The return of American troops to Iraq in late November to attempt to stabilize the government of Chalabi et al.

The question of post Labor Day for America will be: Can democracy be shoved down the throat of a tribal state with major religious and ethnic differences?

Britney Spears will release (squeak-squeak) an album. Yuck!

The Congress will pass a landmark Energy Bill that will provide millions for high school golf education (huh?), millions for a shopping mall (huh?), and open more pristine federal lands for corporate rape (oh yeah!!!!). Shame on Clueless and the Congress.

Seventy-five percent of the dongs in America will be greater than 9 inches by election- day.

The election? Oh yeah, a new coalition of students, old ladies in sneakers, soccer moms and refugees from the Fox Anger Network will join Democrats in electing a President. Hint, hint: Typical American voting booth strategy of voting AGAINST.

Me? I will finish my graduate core courses.

Supposed documentation? I think I will wait for real documentation....oh wait, they were hidden with the supposed WMDs, right?

Come on, Bush and Rice would have been on prime time tv before the U.N. if this fantasy had been found?

I can think of many ways to spend one or two trillion dollars that would be more beneficial than making war on a 4th-rate military power.

And from Yahoo! News:
Britney Spears married a childhood friend in an early-morning ceremony in Las Vegas on Saturday, but quickly arranged to have it annulled.

The 22-year-old singer and Jason Allen Alexander of Kentwood, La., "took a joke too far by getting married," her record label, Jive Records, said in a statement released to "Entertainment Tonight."

"Ms. Spears and Mr. Alexander have filed for an annulment, which will become official on Monday [today]," the statement said.

George Maloof Jr., owner and operator of the Palms Casino Hotel, said the couple got married about 5:30 a.m. Saturday at a Las Vegas wedding chapel.

The two arranged an annulment Saturday afternoon in the presence of several people, including a Las Vegas lawyer, said a source close to Spears who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Spears and Alexander were married at the Little White Wedding Chapel on the Strip after a stop at the Ghostbar, a club in the Palms Casino Hotel. The chapel staff told the couple they couldn't get married without a license, so they were taken to get a license and driven back to the chapel for the ceremony.

The bride wore a baseball cap and torn jeans down the aisle and was escorted by a Palms limousine driver. Maloof denied rumors that Spears was drunk and had to be carried out of the Rain nightclub inside the Palms on New Year's Eve.

"I was with her the whole night," he said. "None of those reports were accurate. She was just having a good time."

While Spears was still in Las Vegas Sunday, Alexander was back in his hometown, according to his grandfather, Robert Alexander.

He said Spears and Alexander had also spent Christmas Eve together.

Spears released her fourth album, "In the Zone," last November.

And you can tell me gay couples don't deserve to have civil unions when straight couples throw them away like THIS? ::)

1. 'Supposedly' being the operative word. I can claim anything I want to without showing the evidence, but I won't be believed.
2. Even if true, we should've had conclusive evidence before he did it.
3. The Saudi royal family has been definitely connected to Osama, but no one's done shit about it. Bush should also ask the Pakis about Osama.

Many people may want to think we went to war for no good reason, and that Bush is evil and lying about everything.
Not Bush. Cheney.

The man honestly thought that Saddam was connected to Osama in some kind of axis of terrorism.
Because Cheney selected which intelligence reports to give him. And the whole 'axis' thing is just rhetoric - the very rhetoric Godwin's law was designed to minimize. You can't honestly believe Iraq and Iran were connected. (In fact, the whole reason the US put Saddam in power was to take down the ayatollahs.) And you can't connect North Korea to Osama either.

Oh, and now it also involves the sex industry and drug users. He does a good Grubor imitation, though Grubor traced everything to the Cabal, not Kabul. Grubor claims to own usenet; Bush claims to own the world. Grubor claims that Kibo is his son; Bush claims that Bush Sr is his father. LOL Grubor's IDs typically involved God; Bush invokes God in every speech. OMG! Bush is a net.loon!

Whether there really was documentation proving Saddam's connection or not is irrelevant now anyway.
It is to the war crimes commission.

The point is we are there, there's no turning back, and IMO I think it was a good idea to take Saddam out of power.
It was a good idea to never put him in power, Gigz. This is what you get when you vote Republicrat.
