This will irk some people. Baby daddy has no rights at all. He wants rights, make it a family. Her body is her own; her sexuality is her own. She needs to be responsible with her own code of morality, not his. She has expenses, appointments, aching breasts, stretch marks, discomfort, etc. If he doesn't want to be part of the solution, then he is just another problem. One I hope she just ignores.

Sad to say, but legally speaking you are right- fathers have absolutely no rights when it comes to a fetus. It is only when that fetus is born that they acquire rights- at least under U.S. law.

If baby daddy is concerned that it could effect the unborn child he should consult an ob/gyn or prenatal care doctor who will either confirm or relieve his fears. If it's confirmed he'll have some solid info to make his case with baby mama. Otherwise, he'll be glad to find out it's not going to be a problem.

If his concern is anything besides the baby's health, it doesn't seem like that's any of his business any more.
