President Washington has his face on the dollar bill. Lincoln is honored on the five. Hamilton got the ten amd Jackson's on the twenty. On a fifty is Grant and Franklin got his on the hundred dollar bill.

Maybe Obama will get his face on food stamps.

Why should Obama be ridiculed as "the food stamp President"? More food stamp recipients were added under President George W. Bush. So ....

Bush had 8 years. Obama has 3. And hopefully only 4.

And in those eight years, President Bush gave us unfunded tax-cuts, two decade-long unfunded wars, the unfunded Medicare Part D benefit and the worst financial collapse the world has ever seen. (Aren't those accomplishments worthy of some sort of "Presidential recognition"?)

Why would they put Alfred E. Newman on money? I for one am glad Obama is President and look forward to four more years. This aside which one of the Republican clowns do you think can beat him? Please say Frothy M. Santorum. So far the GOP have alienated the gays, women, Hispanics and the Independence, pissing off large number of voter blocks is no way to win elections. Watching the party of teabagging implode is great fun.

A few more Republican administrations with their philosophy of spend and borrow and letting the debt 'trickle down' to the next generations of progressively poorer citizens, and Chairman Mao's face will be on your money.

The bailout negotiations will be epic.

In three years, Obama has spent as much as Bush did in eight, and there's no end in sight to what Obama is planning to spend. Isn't all the spending Obama is doing unfunded too? And did Obama get Congressional approval for Libya? Bush's wars were voted for by Congress. Who's presidency was the credit rating lowered under?

Right, which is why U.S. spending has increased from 10 trillion to 15 trillion in 3 years, the years under which Obama was president.

most of that was NOT new spending but simply reporting honestly the cost of two wars which Bush kept hidden as "supplemental" (off the books) spending. President Obama brought honesty and transparency to Bush's disasters

Obama's first fiscal year was not under his control. He took office on January 20, 2009, two months after the budget started. When Obama was sworn into office, Bush had already submitted his $3.1 trillion 2009 budget that would last 8 months into Obama's first term. So yes, he did inherit Bush's budget to increase the debt.

Anybody who blames that $3.1 million on Obama is a fool who doesn't understand how budgets work.

Obama has DECREASED the deficit steadily for the past three years. Considering the mess he inherited from Bush, he should get re-elected for this reason alone. Aside from this, job creation is steadily rising.

Let's get real: Clinton was the first post-war president to decrease the national debt. Unlike Obama, Bush didn't inherit a ridiculous budget. Bush DOUBLED the debt. He was an unpatriotic president.

I've always wondered why Jackson is on money. Not even an Indian thing. Didn't he hate on fiat currency?

So you're blaming Obama for what his *opponents* did?

Right. Then I'll accept your crazy logic when *you* put all the blame for 9/11 squarely on George W. Bush.

    The buck stops here.

You forgot Jefferson on the $2.00 bill and McKinley on the $500.00 bill and Woodrow Wilson on a $100,000.00 bill.

Not that those matter since your title is misleading by saying "Presidential" and then including Hamilton and Franklin, neither of whom was a President.

About Pres.Obama and food stamps, yes more people are on them now because more people are being made aware that they exist and can be obtained. If anything things have improved on that front. Less people are at risk of going hungry. In times like these when the economy is still shaky and greedy store owners are jacking up prices on food, food stamps are a blessing.
