Best wishes. A good friend of mine went through something very similar (from the sound of it). She's hale and healthy now.
she is back home but in tremendous pain. the fentanyl patches are not working as well as can be expected as they take time to saturate your system. her bladder hates her as they had to remove so much endometrial tissue that had almost penetrated it.her roomate is being mean to her. she's having a rough time of it, so please send those positive thoughts her way!
*sends healing love* I'm sorry she's in so much pain; at least she's at home. Give her my best wishes! Meanwhile, I'll place a dark-cloud over her room-mate.she is back home but in tremendous pain. the fentanyl patches are not working as well as can be expected as they take time to saturate your system. her bladder hates her as they had to remove so much endometrial tissue that had almost penetrated it.her roomate is being mean to her. she's having a rough time of it, so please send those positive thoughts her way!
...her roomate is being mean to her. ...
roommate situation is better now. He never grew up knowing how to deal with someone in lots of destress. So he decided avoiding me and staying away were the best things he could do.
I cornered him and asked why he was being such a butt and got that mess straightened out. Doesn't help that when he gets scared or anxious he runs away and sulks.
Post op day 7 still needing a fairly high dosage of meds including antiemetics. for some reason the nausea hasn't abated yet, but the bladder issues have calmed down, yay!
Still seeing my guy from the fiasco pre surgery and i'm happy to say that i'm happy he wasn't a one hit wonder. J has a veey calming and caring touch. When he's here and holding me, my body just relaxes. My daughter the 16 year old met him and by the time he had left that visit she gave him a hug!!
She told me that she didn't feel like she needed to worry so much cause J was around and she was very comfortable with him in our lives. Of course me being the overprotective mom that I am, we'll proceed very simply and slowly.
I'll try to keep posting a bit more tonight.

I'm happy to hear things are improving, lovely lady. I don't think I've heard about this 'J' gentleman before, but he sounds nice. Look after yourself and I hope your full recovery is swift. *hugs and kisses*roommate situation is better now. You know no matter what that I'm going to need all the hugs, kisses, snuggles and shoulders to lean on here. Especially with my Nico being gone......I will miss his insights here at lpsg very much. I'm happy you, my MOT, are still here. And yes i do believe you and Nico both would approve of my J. All the kids meeting him on friday, so fingers crossed! He has a kindness in him that is rare to see in todays world. Not to mention the rockhard abs, beautiful yet masculine face, and all 6'5" of him that just wraps me in comfort. Just to help make me feel better. He and my daughter went to the little mexican place to bring back our dinner a few nights ago. She came home laughing so hard she snorted! That was so nice to hear! Then at the end of our movie when it was time for J to go she reached up and gave him a hug!!! This from my shy child. Later I asked what she thought of J and she replied that she liked that she could be herself around him and told me to please keep him around awhile cause he made her mom smile. Hormonal me almost started crying right then!
That's lovely. J sounds lovely and you're lovely. As ever, you know I'm here if you feel like that shoulder, snuggle or kiss. I hope Nico returns. I'm fairly confident that he will, but I've been wrong before. Get well soon! You know no matter what that I'm going to need all the hugs, kisses, snuggles and shoulders to lean on here. Good to hear things are looking up PSG and looking up in a very nice way for all... Laughter is good medicine. Sounds like you've got people around you to make the most of life. That's a must in all situations...
It's a double plus when our kids are happy, huh?
Oh I miss Nico here too, already, but thinking he has been so ready to leave for some time now. I hope you stick around for a long time. It's great to have others to keep things moving positively.
Have fun with your fam and J... He sounds awesome! You are a lucky girl, you know that, right???
Hugs
