privacy with masturbation and sex

What precautions do you take if any before you masturbate or have sex for privacy? (ex closing the blinds. Making sure bedroom door is lock if you have kids, even turning up the tv so the neighbors can't hear downstairs).

Everyone home life is different. Some of us have kids, roommates,etc. Another factor is is where we live some who live people out in the country may be less likely to close the blinds than someone who live in a sky rise in NYC.

I live in an apt complex on the 2 floor facing the parking lot. So i always close the blinds whether i have sex or masturbate. I wouldn't be suprised if the neighbors below can hear us as we can hear them at times. It not like were auditioning for a porn movie. But we both do what comes natural. She usually moans throughout. Whereas i am just a heavy breather except for an occasional grunt usually when i bust a nut. Although i try to put something between the headboard and wall. The only time I close the blinds is when I'm watching porn in the living room.
We live in a mid-century modern and it's kinda like a fishbowl.

As well, we have a hot tub in the back yard. I've done some landscaping to obscure the view from the uphill neighbors but if they want to they can look pretty much into our back yard.
